All i need to know is how to do the extra battery, what i need to buy to do it, and how exactly it will help my problem? anyone answer these questions please.

I've heard multible things on Caps. most people have told me that they just cover up your problem. basically they mean it stops the lights from dimming but is still killed the battery.

Im in Clayton, roughly 10 minutes from Dover.

Can someone explain to me how it all works? because if i have 2 different batterys and one alternator thats making the alternator struggle to keep the 2 batterys charged. how does this work? sorry, but im lost and confused lol.

Ok, first off, sorry for the newb questions. I made a thread earlier asking if i should get a new more powerful Alternator or a Capasitor for my cars problem. the batter dies when every i use my sytem, lights dim really really bad. I was told to just buy a new batter for the rear. The only thing im worried about for that is wont that put more stress on the Alternator which wont really help me? My other question is how exactly do i install the 2nd battery? Do I just connect the postives and ground the rear batter to the frame or what? Can someone please explain this to me in some easy to understand, not extremely trechnical jargon. lol Sorry, im a newb, just getting into this stuff and this is my first system. Any help is appreciated Thanks

My point exactly! lol i hate it when thats all there is, is fuckin nagging. when that happens that bass boost nob goes up a bit further and then all that annoying noise goes away.

im not sure either but i think it has to do with the EQ. flat line. when its a slope the bass is higher and all that. im pretty sure that is what it means. not sure tho.

nah not freinds... family.... bro and sis... so if i had it my way id be throwing that seat in the garbage and throwing some bigger subs back there so i could use my trunk for somthing lol. the only person who would ride with my is my girlfreind who isnt to fond of the booming... (shame ). she gets pissed with the 2 10" L7's in a sealed box.... seat will come out one day and thats when i say "HAha theres a bus" . i think its a good thing my freinds dont expect me to take em' anywhere because i wouldnt lol. anyway hope you sell you car man. i love mine it suits me for the time being. good luck.

yea man the dual 18's was an idea for me later on when i get out of highschool. not sure if i can build a box big enough for them but i can try if not ill do 2 15's lol. i only have 2 10's which i managed to just squeeze in that trunk... things tiny lol. anyway good cars, pretty quick fun to drive o and great on gas. it only cost me $30 to fill my tank as for other people i know with trucks damn near $80. makes me proud to have it.

Hey, yea thought I'd just see what its like. need some help anyway lol i was thinking keeping them ported but in on chamber instead of both being in their own. i talked to another person on youtube about it too and he said i could do it like that and id have roughly 3.2 cubes and for ports i could do 2 3" round ports and have them anywhere from 8-13 inches long each. he said depending on what i pick ill be in the 28-35hz range. does this sound good? if so im not sure what length port i want...

i agree with steve too. it was pretty funny. a little lame but still funny. especially becase the guy jumped like a whole second before the bass even hit lol.

you have a good point there. instaling another battery will put more stress on the alternator wont it? which really wont solve my problem will it?
