I have an Alpine 1243D in a ported enclosure right now. Just a generic enclosure i picked up at a local audio shop.

wanna do something like this through the armrest hole in the back seat...
this will be flush against the back of the seat.
view from trunk with part of box mounted flush against the seat.
the whole enclosure outside of the trunk.
my problem is. i've never built a bandpass box before. this is technically a bandpass box if i'm not mistaken. has anyone used a similar box to this with a type R? should i port it, leave it sealed? 2 ports, 1 port? what internal volume should the box be??? any and all help is appreciated.
