How would you know if the alternator was charging if you didnt start the car?i dunno why the battery would die, i never left anything on inside the car. i checked the batteries with a volt meter, they were holding a charge and so was the alternator.. i know the batteries dont rest at full charge when the car is off. what would cause the battery to all the sudden die?
-
I would definatley look over the ground connections and power connections again, as kino stated earlier this sounds like a battery related issue. I was thinking it may be a fuse issue, but I dont think there is a master fuse for a car, so its got to be battery connection related.
-
There must be a main fuse or something on the car, because your lights should work if you have battery charge no matter what the ignition does.

I dont even want to try playing that game, it looks impossible.

Would it be easier to just have a switch on the remote of the 4 channel to turn it off and on? Oh unless a 4 channel is all you are running. Didnt read that at first.

Im curious to see what is the factory subwoofer screwed into, is it a box under the seat or something?
-
Have you tried to stuff the box with polyfill to see the difference, i think its like 1 lb of stuffing per cubic foot.
-
put a linear actuater on it to move it in and out automatically. That would be sick.
-
Yeah I would definately use the relay not only for the cooling fans but for everything you need the remote to turn on.
-
hmm maybe a telescopic port lol.
-
I think you would also need to have an adjustable port also if thats the case. Because port size is directly linked to box size. Looks like it would be worth a shot to see what happens though.

Oh I thought you meant actually painting them.this blows
-
I think its more of a popularity contest anyways.

Looking good man.

can you use lock tite on the set screw?
-
Damn thats a crazy amount of re-enforcement on the box. Nice job getting those numbers. Its a 16v system also huh?
-
I look, I think though people see what you want painted and are like, that isnt a quick touch up, thats a big job. To paint over chrome takes alot of prep work because paint wont stick to chrome without flaking off.does anybody look in this section? lol

That makes sense. The belts tend to sound like a clicking sound and do go away at higher rpm. The belt dressing or a spray bottle with soap and water in it will tell you if it's the belt. The soap and water will go away and the noise will come back, the belt dressing sometimes will quiet it up permanent or it will come back depending on the condition of the belts.

I thought since it was the wheel it may have been in gear at idle.
-
Maybe constant velocity joint if its a front wheel drive.

Im all for new technology, but that kindof sucks right there.
yeah plus they are a bitch to splice or repair ive heard. You need special tools to work on them.Zero chance of interference. It has a faster transfer rate but that's irrelevant for this.
because it doesn't work like an regular wire but works with kind of light pulse is it not?
yeah that they're a bitch to work on i know..
the new mercedes AMG has full fiber optic wiring (think they call it "can-bus")

I would almost think some sort of fluid cooling, using like a transmission cooler, a small pump and some aluminum transmission line. But thats pretty extreme.
Car dead?

You may need to replace both batteres also, if they are both at 8v.
