Calling that a mary kay car is like calling a pastors escalade on 30's a church vehicle. Slap a little door sticker on it and write it off on income taxes.

Look like the motor was over tightened perhaps.

The more power you put to a sub the more heat and resistance gets created.ya u should be good . BL's are good for up to 2000 and im guessing you prob wont get that out of the 2500's in the real world just be carefull with the gains
It's a CEA Comp. amp. If he has the electrical system to supply it, why wouldn't he see it?
-
Just run the speakers in 4 ohms, and the sub in 2 ohms

Stingray hide? Were they out of whale nutsack hide or something?
-
I also think 3" ports are too small, i would go with 4" at least.

You could always just buy the automotive paint and clear and do it yourself. May be a 5 footer but who cares.

Clipping is distortion.

yeah kindof like oldschool drag racers that uncork their exhaust at the track, when its time to go home they cap the header back off.bassface thats what im thinking i mean imo that would be throwing away money. Just throw and aeroport capped off, then when u want it to drop take the cap off.
-
Or run a mono amp for the sub out, and a 4 channel for the front and rear, and just use the componet crossovers. Or yeah you could get a line driver/ crossover and run 3 amps.

Damn man thats going to be a rough job to do every day.

You could probably make the largest recommended sealed box and have a port you can cap off, im sure a large sealed box would fall into the small ported box specs.

If $500 is your budget i would definately check out craigslist, you can really cut your costs.

I think hes just wanting to know about brands he can afford, not the best ones out there.
yeah infinity front and back should work fine. just look on the speaker or the box and see what your rms is for each set, then add them together.

Nice numbers even for new woofers

1000 watt would be 100 amp fuse. probably a little extra for max power.i got a used sundown saz-1000d and it come with 3 25 amp fuse but the owner manual says that it takes 3 35 amp fuses. which one is right?

Check out this

Pretty beefy looking amp, strange looking power bus.

I dont like the new style of craftman ratchets, the old ones would last forever, the new ones seem to have gear trouble after a couple years. If sears carries husky I would pick that over craftsman.

I have the millermatic 220/110 mig welder and love it but the harbor frieght one should be fine if you are just going to use it for little fixes here and there. And 100 bucks is supercheap so why not. I have never tried to weld steel without gas though, it may be the ugliest non penetrating welds ever, but who knows lol.

thats a tough one man. You need to make that decision on your own I think.

Thats probably not steel, im guessing aluminum. Goodluck though man you seem excited about it so im all for it.padding will not be needed around the box if the box is built right, just saying. if the box is rattling the toolbox, then the box is vibrating and needs bracing.
It's pretty heavy gauge steel. I'd honestly say it's about 3/16 to 1/4" thick. Ok maybe not 1/4" but it's a toughly built box. I'd hate to cut a side off, BUT I'll DO IT DAMN IT! I'm just being silly now! Sorry guys, I'm in love with my design and I want it to work!

How is it running after this happens? was it running smooth or missing? Normally if its a fuel issue it will have black smoke if it gets flooded. If your fuel pump wasnt pumping im guessing it wouldnt have been able to rev at all. Any check engine lights on?
How to keep alternator cool?
