The good ones have a ul listed stamp on them.

whats your subsonic filter set at?
-
The ones in the picture look way to flimsy to be true 1/0 connectors.
-
you can find used routers all the time also for a couple dollars. The jig is the most expesive item and they run about 50 bucks.
-
Yeah the amount of time and energy you save with a router and jasper jig is well worth the money it costs to buy them. Plus you can use them for all your speakers holes even tiny ones.
-
Yeah man just be safe until you know what you are doing. you could always turn the gain on the amp all the way down or wire the subs in series if you wanted to start out slow with a bigger amp.
-
No you cant.
-
I would not hook up both positives until they were both fused, period. So the next question would be are you fusing both ends of both positives also or not? You need 4 fuses for 2 runs of 1/0. as close to the battery in the front and as close to the battery in the back as possible. Then from the back battery you need another fuse between the rear battery and the amp.
-
No you need to fuse the positive wire only. Fusing the ground wire wont do anything. If that positive wire hits a ground anywhere it will short, without a fuse on the positive you run the risk of burning your car down.
-
Its amazing how many people swore up and down that you always needed equal runs of the same gauge cables from the front to rear, until this video came out. I wonder how much bad information about running cables was given out before this video. And where did the whole run cables instead of chassis ground even start?
-
Well you have to consider his target audience, I mean if hes trying to sell something for 6 bucks on craigslist hes probably trying to market this to some pretty shady characters.

Ive noticed that basket looks very similar to many other subwoofer baskets, I wonder if its like an off the shelf subwoofer part.

I have had oem alternators fail a couple times on my 65 el camino, mostly it was due to the bearings fucking up. That was because i usually tightend the belt too much. Once the bearings get worn out and start making noise it creates more friction and the alts days are numbered.

Im guessing they stole the linear off of good amps and added ultra
-
4 25 amp fuses, im guessing 1k max watts, so like 600 rms i bet.
-
In my opinion I bet it would be equal loudness, but im guessing 4 would sound cleaner also if everything was hooked up perfect.
-
2 of my amps are rated at 2500 rms @.75 ohm and they call for 300 amp fuses, I just use whatever the manufacturer tells me to use.

all you would have to do is remove the wires from the thermostat switch and hook them to a toggle switch if you wanted to run the fan manually.Yea It might get toasty cuz its right buy the exhaust.
Yep, but, it is right by the fan that jumps on when something says somthing..The AUX fan.....
.... hmmmm.... a switch to keep said fan on when KYLE says so?????..... hmmmmm.. Tony, where are you?......

nice camera, those pics are clear.

Its still going to get hot no matter what because its bolted to an engine block that is designed to run at 180 degrees or even more.
-
Looks like you got pretty good electrical, why do you think you dont have enough for a 5k?
-
I would have probably taped off the dash with some plastic sheeting. Floor looks nice and clean though.
-
Looks nice man, rims match the style good.
-
They should let you rent these at big 4 rents.
