Hi thank your for your replies, i have new dimensions, as i didn't measure it properly, as i a was measurng them in the dark lol. So height 14.5, 38 width and depth 10.5, which overall creates in double sub single chamber box = 2.47 cubic feet. So pioneer recommend 1.2 for each sub ported, so i have two subs arond 2.4 cubic feet, so i am ok then? Including sub displacment, as pioneer say 1.2 cubic for sub box, including woofer displacment.

Thank your for your thought, so should i build a 2.4 cubic feet enclosure? Pioneer say that one sub in an individual aero ported box recommend 1.2 cubic feet to work in. However i am very limited to space an can make a box to put both subs in, by creating a dual single chamber box that has a cubic volume of total 2.4, 1.2 for each sub and porting it to 30HZ? Another question is that pioneer recommended 1.2 cubic feet for each sub and say the recommend enclosure volume includes speaker displacement, so i just build a 2.4 cubic box, port it and it should be fine? Or do i need to calucalte speaker displacement myself from 1.2 cubic feet they have stated on the specs sheet?

Hi thank your for replying, the car is an porchse 968, classic in 1990's and the maximum dimensions i can get is Depth:10 inches Width:37 and height 13.5. I want to create an box that will give me low, deep thumping bass, please can you help me? I suggested myself to use aero ports, as they take less box space up, using 2 2.5 inch ports, tuning box to around 30Hz. I look foward to your reply:) The amplifier is an 2000 watt mono block, provinding 1000 rms to each sub.

Hi to everybody on this forum, i have an problem, i am building a subwoofer enclosure and its for 2 pioneer pioneer tsw-3001d4. Pioneer say that they recommend 1.2 cubic feet volume for each sub in a ported box. So i am going to build a enclosure that is a single chamber, due to space issues, so you double the cubic feet volume, so i will need to come up with an design that has 2.4 cubic feet. However do you recommend that cubic feet (1.2) for each sub, most people said to me that 12's need at least 2 cubic feet to get to there dull potential? Also i am looking for low deep thudering sounding bass, that you can hear as well as feel, how much cubic feet do you recommend to me to use. I already have enough room to do 3.0 cubic feet in a box for both subs, but reducing it to 2.4, as pioneer recommend, will it sound better? I am also going to use aero ports that i am going to tune the enclousre to 30HZ, will lower tuning mean a bigger box, will it matter because i don't want to use the ports diameter and length that pioneer recommend in there specs as that is around 33Hz, which i don't want.
