  1. im looking at going over to this unit, http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27182_Alpine-INA-W900BT.html and this is what i currently have http://www.sonicelec...DEH-P410UB.html i listen to alot of electronic music so keeping distortion down is important for speaker life right? i like dubstep also i dont have that tuning tool, the DD-1 thing. best i can do atm is a multimeter to adjust the gains. if anyone in the area already has one and wants to help me out
  2. hey so i have a 4v preout HU right now, but its a single din, and my friend is selling a double din dvd/nav but it only has 2v preouts, will there be a difference in loudness or SQ or anything like that? thanks guys

  4. yeah i wasnt sure if the bend made a difference, sounds like a no, and i know birch is more expensive but id rather save weight if theres not alot of difference from mdf.
  5. hey so im rebuilding my current box out of birch ply instead of mdf to save weight, so 1, will birch ply cause any noticeable issues vs mdf? not running anything crazy, 1 type r at 500w rms. so onto the post question, im going to put a trim panel to make it look finished in the trunk like a wall. im wondering if i can change from a slotted port design to an L port design so the port fires towards the trunk and not into the confined space behind the trim panel, im guessing itll work better this way with more air in the trunk but im not 100% on this.. so really there are two questions 1. does birch ply make a noticable difference over MDF? 2. can i use an L port vs a slotted port without a noticable difference(i will be keeping same overall port size)
