  1. Speaking of wheels... I wanted to see what Work Ryvers and bags would look like on my car so I played around a bit more in photoshop

dayum you audi and your chrome mirrors, whats with that shit!

    that looks sick though!

Haha those are the stock polished aluminum mirrors on the S4's. Only issue is that the Work Ryvers were only made in up to 18" diameters, and I want 20's. So my only options would be to get some 18" Ryvers and custom build them with step lips, or go through a company like Rotiform or Watercooled Industries and have them make a custom set of similar wheels. None of this will happen until I get a better paying job though haha. Graduation can't come soon enough!

  2. Installed an SA-12 in one of my old boxes with a Crescendo amp in my coworkers Jeep today

And then I got distracted with the camera...

what camera? That's the first thing I noticed in that picture, the quality that is.

Shallow depth of field. What's in front of the focus plane (what exactly you are focused on) and behind the plane are blurry. You need a larger imager (CCD size in your camera) and a "bright" lens to get the most shallow depth of field.

Point and shoots or phones with fixed lenses and tiny sensors can't do that well. These photos can be had with even an entry level SLR camera and stock lens. I'd actually like to know what cam and lens these were shot with as well...

    EDIT:

Haha as you can see the camera is a Nikon D5500. Lens is a Nikon 35mm f/1.8G DX lens. My parents picked up the camera last month, so I've been having fun toying around with it in manual mode. Photography has been something I've wanted to get into for quite a while now; It's just been hard to justify the startup cost. I'm thinking I'd like to get something like the Nikon D7200 towards the end of the year to use with mountain biking, car shows, etc. I played around with the photo of the Audi in lightroom to try to lower the exposure on the hood and windshield. It helped a bit, but I definitely have a lot to learn!
