  1. Your system is loud as hell man. You need to keep everything you have just make it more custom. I'm totally going with your idea of replacing my factory front mids/highs. I'm doing your idea of some custom fiberglass pillars. That's gonna be sick as shit!
  2. Also wanted to give an update. I wired up my Tsunami 1.2f cap today (always an amazing difference with long bass drops) and at work I made up a panel to cover up all the wires. Also the cover has 2 holes as you can see. Tomorrow I will be carpeting this and putting black mesh on the back side where the holes are to allow sound to pass through and at the same time you won't be able to see through it. By douglauver138 at 2012-06-07 By douglauver138 at 2012-06-07 I think once this has carpet on it; it is going to look so nice.
  3. Thank you very much! Yes I enjoy hearing the music. I listen to everything from frank sinatra to lil wayne. I like my bass don't get me wrong but if I turn it on and that is all you can hear it's not enjoyable. Mine probably won't bring home an award but it sounds amazing while crusin around. Also I have been talking with Crandis16 (he is a buddy of mine from school) I am looking into replacing my bose front door speakers with some nice rockford or infinity components. I am leaving the bose in the rear deck and rear doors but I want better sound up front. I am thinking about doing a custom mount with tweets in the a-pillars up front and putting the speaker woofer in the doors. I think that would be a really awesome install and sound so much better and also have a bigger sound.
  4. Correct it's powering the bose. I wasn't sure how it would sound with the stock speakers but it sounds really nice. Bose puts some nice systems in cars. I do not plan on porting the rear deck right now. I am still working on the trunk as far as making the fit and finish perfect. The sound is great the only part I may want to change out is the front door speakers. I feel as though it I changed those out to some speakers with good highs it would sound a lot better. The only part that seems lacking are the highs.
  5. As far as the mids and highs I have a factory bose sound system so I did not upgrade them yet. It sounds really nice for not having it ported into the car.
  6. I am new to this forum but not new to car audio and modding. Here is a build log from this past week from me installing my system in my 08 Nissan Altima. Just to note to not take credit for someone elses work I did not construct the fiberglass pieces. I purchased them. Day 1 I received the 2 12" Rockford Fosgate P2 dvc subs and sub box. Along with 2 Arc audio amps (1000.1 and a 300.4) and 2 custom made amp bases. By douglauver138 at 2012-05-29 By douglauver138 at 2012-05-29 Also I routed the 2nd 4gauge power wire to the trunk nice and neatly routed along one of the factory wire harnesses. By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 Day 2 I started preping all the wiring on the back of the amp bases for easy connection once in the trunk. By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 Takin a break... By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 Once the weekend came I got the rest all finished. Getting more wires ran into the trunk. By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 Took the subs back out to mount the box to the car and connect more wires. She is starting to come together! By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 Subs are re-mounted. By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 Amps in place and getting wired up. By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 WIRES, WIRES, WIRES!!! By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 Front fascia piece in place and all wires tucked away! By douglauver138 at 2012-06-04 By douglauver138 at 2012-06-05 That's how she sits as of now. I work in a machine shop and I am going to re-make the front fascia to make it a better fit and I am going to make a diamond plate floor piece and cut the Rockford symbol in the center. Once it is all done I will post more pictures. I really like how it turned out and it sounds great.
