CARMAGEDON

So i purchased the burtus 2100 (sorry haters) its what appealed to me. Wiring it at 1 ohm. Thanks everybody for the help, cut the lumber for the box yesterday, some building today waiting for the amp to arrive. Ill post photos eventually.

Well do you what to play for long times, or do you what loudness? Wire 2 ohm for long play time and 1 ohm for loudness. that's just my preference. Usually no more then 40 minutes at a time, but i dont know if i should get the 2100 or the 2400, if i wire to 1 ohm.

Now im wondering if i should wire to 1ohm or 2ohm..... I'm pretty sure i want the hifonics brutus. but now i dont know how much power i want. I just feel like a huge idiot now lol

I was thinking the HIfonics Brutus 2100 or 2400. I know its a bit more then i wanted, but they look like nice amps, at a good price!

Also some amp suggestions would be killer. Might aswell get a new one for a new build. Not going to push anymore then 2k into the sub.

well i have 40" length, and width to work with, So plenty of space lol. I think im going to build a ported box, and a sealed to feel the difference for myself, but ported seems pretty damn specific, so i was just looking for somebody that knows how to use a box calculator good(or somebody that owns this sub). Id actually like to use the full 40" in one direction, and then width and height im not picky. Whatever will give me some boom. Thanks again everybody!!!

Hey guys! Just stumbled onto the forum, and thought id say whats up. Driving a 2005 dodge magnum, actually just about to install an RE audio 15" XXX. Just thought id ask if anybody already has box dimensions they wouldnt mind sharing, or if somebody could give me a hand. Kind of new to the whole ported world.
