  1. Since I personally, and I'm sure a few others also, are saving up for the holidays, I was wondering. Does Sonic do a massive sale, such as Black Friday? Cyber Monday? Granted, it's like 2 months away (gotta start saving early right?). But, do you guys do that? Or are all of your sales just random timed?

    I'm eyeing one of two head units, and close to pulling the trigger. Just need a bit more time. But if there's a sale? Can 99% guarentee that I'll pull that trigger for that sale.

    the only reason its not out yet for PC is because the ps4 and one aren't out yet. same x86 architecture. rockstar is waiting to release the better versions because money money money....MONAY.

    if they sold it for PC right now, nobody would be playing it for xbox LOL because PC graphics are better than peasant console graphics.

    I believe WastedTalent posted that his insider said Q1 or Q2 will be PC/XB1/PS4. So that's early to mid 2014. Plus all you PC ppl will just torrent the game which is another reason why they are probably waiting. An article on PC release that uses past console then PC release dates for GTA puts the release date for V in April. Plus the game actually looks beautiful on console.

    No sir, was not me. Only things I've posted about GTA5 was that vid of why it's boring and the pic that supposedly it's coming to ps4 and xbone (no timeframe, just code screen shots) but I can take the credit if you want. ;) lmfao.

    Same thing happened to me, except the hitting part. Was driving company van, we're going and going, then all of a sudden, everyone stops. Da hell? Like, no reason to stop. No red lights (no lights period actually), no one turning, ect. Well, van we have has a wall from the cabin to back, and wall is kinda flimsy but sturdy. (It's tough for a human but anything with weight can go through it easily). Well, had a trash can thing (what we use for work) full of paper next to it. When I hit the brakes? Sure enough, that trash can almost comes through the wall. Rather than the wall being | how it should be (straight as shit), it's now like a ( lol. We tried to fix it and it's as good as it'll get. But yeah.

  4. So I'll be honest, haven't read much of the thread cause seems butthurt central in here. And haven't seen Tony's video as busy can be. I'll try to get to it tonight/this morning. But... my opinion is this. CCA is little less than half the cost of OFC. But, CCA is more than half the amperage rating of OFC. So unless OFC is required due to classes (limits on how many runs) or too many tight fits, why wouldn't you do CCA?

    You can get 2x the amount of CCA than you can of OFC for the same price. 100ft of CCA = 50 ft of OFC, based on price (and CCA is still cheaper. Get maybe 110 ft or so actually). Since CCA can handle more than 1/2 the amperage OFC can, why not? I see if it's a requirement due to classes or you have a monster system that needs tons of runs and you can't fit that many under panels. But I mean those systems, such as mine, where the entire system (subs, mids, highs, ect) is around 1800 watts on a good day. Think CCA would be more cost effective.

    Again, my opinion and that's without reading majority of this thread due to butthurt, and without seeing Tony's video due to 16 hour work days + driving and all.

    Lol. Yeah. Not where I am, as that's Boulder/Longmont... about hour or so away from where I am. But where I am, is getting some of that, just NOWHERE to that extent.

    Is more like where I am. But what I find weird? As you can see, it's bad. But, go literally, half a block away? Just wet road. Lol. And yes, it'll continue. Just saw a weather update... more rain expected through the night so yeah. And what starts it? Obviously? That hard furious rain. I was driving in it yesterday and thought my windshield was going to shatter. Got cars here covered with leaves because the rain/wind beat leaves off trees and "glued" them to cars. Lol. It was and is insane here.

    Before getting upset and making a thread make sure you have contact with the company first. Remember mechman is not a huge outfit. While I don't know the total number of people employed they are not hundreds or thousands I dont think. They arent working a 24/7 with a customer service section dedicated to phone calls and emails. I don't get replies right away no one does. Mechman is here as a vendor and has been a mainstay here for years because they will and do have a great reputation. While you can't please everyone and you can see a few people in here who didnt have a good experience they will make it right. I'd say by giving you almost twice the alternator you ordered for they did alright in my book. You'll be set for your next couple of upgrades free of charge.

    well it all comes down to them making me pay 40 bucks for shipping and then not emailing me back. its not that its doesn't fit its just the way there handling it in my opinion. i understand they have allot of work but when you email someone in 30 minutes when you need something from them and they give it to you and then you don't reply back after i ask if they are gonna reimburse me. i mean im broke dude. im spending every last bit of money getting ready for slamfest

    Bro, I'm going through the same thing (with a different company, different item as it's not car related). i bought something, didn't fit, i have to pay for shipping, they'll exchange and ship back to me. I sent it to them Tuesday. They received Thursday. I haven't heard anything. Guess what? CALM DOWN. As others stated, companies deal with a lot of people. You don't know what they're doing. Think they're in the back, playing floor hockey? I'm sure they're doing all they can to help not only you, but everyone else.

    I haven't heard anything from the company I'm dealing with and I'll give them until Wednesday or so. Then I'll just call them. (Bigger company, they have people dedicated to literally just answering the phones so won't have that problem).

    And fact that they're giving you the upgrade, for free? Really gonna complain about $40? I understand, trying to spend all your money to get ready for a competition. But don't you realize what a freaking gift you're receiving? How much bigger of a system, how much money that saves, ect... because you're getting a bigger alt?

    But you don't see me blowing up the company saying this is bs. Sucks I have to pay shipping but, it is what it is. No biggie. Just calm down. They've stated what they need/want from you. Just have to give it to them. And then wait a little longer. Being a vendor/sponsor on THIS site means something. Means they're good business. They won't do you wrong. I mean, basically, they're giving you your alt, plus another one, for the price of the one you ordered. I see no problems with that on YOUR side. I'd say bad business for Mech as how you make money on that? Lol. But that, right there, is how and why they're part of this site. Going to diss them and panic because of that? Wow.

    From my understanding, Mech is a small company. They don't have but 5? 10? Employees. Think of all the orders. Think of all the calls. Emails. Ordering for their supplies. Finding out tracking information so they can keep their customers updated. Fact you got that one email within an hour, I'd say you're quite lucky. But hey, that's just my opinion.
