  1. oh, i only have about 3 volt meter's in stock and i am NOT offering the adapter just yet. That will come on the next 500. Anyone who previously ordered one, if you wan't one, just email me and i can ship one out once i get them. :)

That seems like a no. Not yet. When he gets the 500, then he'll have them. So if you ordered a VM-1... shoot him an email and ask for one. He'll send when he gets. I'd also make sure to include your order # and such in the email.

  2. I... actually thought that was normal. It's done it for me since... like ever. If you're constantly going in and out of topics, refreshing the main page, etc, it doesn't do it. But if you leave it up and go to bed? Wake up, you can see the same topic on there twice, three times, four times, etc. Depends on how many responses. I've been a member since... shoot, idk when, but think I've always had that happen.

edit- Been online for literally 5-6 mins and I see that topic "please help if you can :(" 3 times in that list. So eh, thought it was normal. idk.

  3. It's all good. Least I wasn't that much of a noob and "What do you mean, a meter? I'm talking about my LED strip man" Lmfao!! But, no, tomorrow hopefully I'll have time to test some crap out. I'm not sure if it's hooked to the same relay as the others (I have 4 total) but only this 1 doesn't work. So what I'm thinking is loose connection and somehow this one strip isn't getting power or this certain strip is bad and needs replaced. But that's why I asked you. You were welcoming questions and you do this type of stuff for a living (and do it DAMN well by the way), so why not ask and see where you'd start the troubleshoot.

  4. @Wastedtalent. A few things come to mind. Do you have a meter? The LED strip that's not working. Is it on or near anything that moves? Obviously I'd check for power at the strip. If it has power going to the strip I'd look closely at the strip & make sure all connections are soldered to the strip & none have worked loose or touching one another. All else it could be a bad strip. I've had sections go bad with some brands that customers bought off Ebay super cheap. If you can test it & lemme know I'll try to help.

What type of meter? I only have a DMM. So not sure if that's the type of meter you're referring to (I'm sort've a noob to car audio/electrical so be patient haha). It's at the bottom of the dash that's right below the steering column. So doesn't really move. As today I was busy, I'll try to get around to it tomorrow to see what's going on. See if I can find anything.

  5. Got some wire from him and Idk what to say... since it was quick, it was practically effortless, wire in great shape, shipped same day as payment and gave tracking info... I mean, personally? I'd have to say you're pretty much retarded to NOT do business with this outstanding fella. I do know, without a doubt, he'll be my #1 stop when I'm looking for things.

  6. Welp, I'm hoping this is his only feedback thread as it's the only one I saw. But kind've sad that more people haven't left feedback for Ken considering all he sells. Anywho....

  7. I got a question. Being an installer, where would be the first few things you'd look at/for if someone came to you saying they had an LED strip inside their car that didn't work? Have 4 strips total, only 1 doesn't work. That's as much information as I can really provide, as I don't know what brand or whatnot. Just looking for what generally you'd look for/at. And if it's not obvious, I didn't install them. Had them installed. (Can't go back to the shop who did it as they're 2k miles away)

And I know I never said welcome... so Jon, welcome to the forums. I know you've been here for a few weeks, hope it's been enjoyable so far. I know you'll make more than a great addition to the forums.

  8. add me to the list (if there is one lol) for 1!

shit ill buy the current version and will never complain!

anything will be better the resetting my stinger volt meter daily :peepwall:

x2. Cept I don't have a volt meter at all. Haha. Have had it tested before and "SUPPOSEDLY" never dips low enough to cause problems but Idc, need a meter. Was gonna go the stinger route but... why? Waiting on this fine piece of work. I mean if never ever needs re-calibrated, looks super sexy, and is more accurate (with stinger's or any other's having a slight delay)? Shit, I'll wait for this. Lol. So I'd be down with buying the current version, the one that doesn't have the numbers light up.

But again, I feel Steve on showing us prototypes. I mean it's not ready, wants it perfect, but also wants to show what's up and coming. I'm in no rush but can't wait. Lol.

  9. no it should work fine. It will let you know if the problem is with your ISP's DNS server. you can always log back onto your router and switch it back to Obtain DNS automatically.

Actually you may not have access to it since the device it adminstered by your ISP.

Not true. my device is administered by my ISP and I can do anything. I mean you have to know your ISP's login (as to which is usually admin/admin) to access the router, but you can change the SSID, password, DNS, everything...

Think the chance of not accessing it would be less than 1%. Lol.
