hey guys, i've been looking at DC Audio for a long time now and really want their subs. i currently only have an Alpine MRP-M1000(1k rms) and am not going to be going any bigger. (i dont have the money to support a bigger amp). so based on the new m2 series, the level 2 are 600rms and the level 3 is 900rms. so should i get 2 12" level 2's or 1 12" level 3? which would be a better option for me? which would be louder? which would hit lower notes? which would i feel more?

who are some of the rep's i can contact for them?

well i am not going to be upgrading later on, i dont have the money to upgrade for a larger electrical system to support a bigger amp. i will just be sticking to my MRP-M1000, possibly a 1.5k watt amp at most

why at least 6"?

ahh! i see, very interesting. i didn't even think an aeroport could be designed with bends like that. that would much more helpful. thank you very much for the pics, didnt understand the concept without it. but will also consider what noob said about losing output at far off frequencies.

i am stuck as to which of these i want? i am going for 2 12" subs. i only have a Alpine MRP-M1000. the new generation DC lvl 2 are 600rms a piece, whereas the new lvl 3's are 900rms a piece. i know this may sound simple, "obviously choose the level 2 because you'd be underpowering the level 3's" but ive seen videos of level 3's flexing only on 1k rms. so to get to the nitty gritty, should i get 2 12" Level2's or Level3's? (or possibly stick with my 2 Type R's?)

yes, i did realize i did have to adjust legnth. which in my case would be problematic as if i had 2 4" aeroports, for 35Hz i would need them to be 16.5" long, but my box is only 16" in depth. i guess i am stuck with my port noise, seeing as how i dont want to go above 35Hz.

hey all, so i currently have a ~3 cubic foot box for my 2 12" Type R's. with that box i have a make shift 4" aeroport tuned to ~35Hz. playing full tilt i sometimes here port noise. should i add a second or even third aeroport? and if i do add X amount of aeroports, will this make my system louder?
