  1. You have to wire front together on 2 channels and rear on the other 2 channels. Okay could u explain it a bit more please? The front together on 2 channels what exactly do u mean?
  2. Ok thanks Now my second question channel 1 and 2 will have 4 speakers each 2 4 inch and a 4x6 and a tweeter how do i wire these to get a 2 or 4 ohm load total I was thinking or parallel wiring each pair and then in series to get 4 ohms would this be okay or how wld i wire the 4 speakers to one channel
  3. Alright this all helped now howbout a straight up yes or no answer to finally answer my question could i hook up all 10 speakers to that kicker 350.4 i know and i am aware tht the amp will not have enough power for them bt could i connect 8 to the front 2 channels and 2 to the 2 rear channelz?
  4. It's gonna damage your amplifier if your mixing 2 ohm loads and 4 ohm loads Amp will just see the final ohm load doesnt matter to the amp if each speaker has a different ohm to them Alright so i cld jst wire them like i said right?
  5. Cuz i was thinking of wiring the 2 pairs in each door so 2 4" and a 4x6 and tweeter in parallel to get a 2 ohm loadfrom each then the 2 pairs in series for a 4 ohm load on one channel and the same way for the other door As for my 6x9s jst each straight to its own channel at 4 ohms Would this set up work?
  6. So it wouldnt handle if i put all 10 in just that amp? Cuz i cant have two amps cuz my eq only has one output for front and onefor rear and these amps only have inputs not outputs
  7. i just bought a kicker 350.4 and 2 pairs of kicker ks40 4 inch speakers i already have 4 speakers in my car 2 6x9s in the back 2 4x6s in the front and 2 ks13 tweeters my question is if i add these 4 new speakers to my front doors will my amp b able to handle all 10 speakers total? I plan on wiring each pair in parallel then in series to get a 4ohm load cuz i know it wont.handle a 1ohm load I know it might b over kill having 10 speakers but hey everyone has their own ways of thinking lol So plz help me with this they are for my front doors its gonna b 4 speakers on.each door so 4 speakers on each channel for the front channels And waht would be the best way to wire these Any help will be greatly appreciated Thanks
  8. Trunk cars are really hard to get loud in, ON THE OUTSIDE. Not saying that you should be an asshat and go bumpin everywhere but still.. SUVs and trucks are usually easier to get louder on the outside of the car. Yeaa i know that nd i will soon b getting a 03 chevy silverado single cab or a 03 chevy silverado SS so i think ill let it go nd jst mess with the truck
  9. Noo i dont. Bt it sounds clean and Like a good system and its better than jst hearing rattleing.
  10. They are 4ohm subs wired parallel to make a 2 ohm load at the amp So with all you ppls experience having the 2 12's and kicker 400.1 and lets say i get a custom made box should they be pretty loud? Even outside the car? An should the bass be felt outside the car atleast a little? I understand i cant expect much from this set up but it should be decent atleast right?
  11. If i change my box would it really make a difference? Their currently in a cheapy pre made 60 dollar ported box And the viehcle is a 99 mazda protege
  12. I have 2 12" kicker comps powered by a kicker 400.1 i know its not a big setup or a high output system so i know not to expect much however is there a way that i could get a bit more impact with this set up? They are parallel wired to the 400.1 and it could bearly be heard outside the car. I would like it to be louder and felt more outside the car as in feel the bass Once again i know its not a big set up but is there a way with what i have?
