sorry but what do you mean by contacts? there was a radio fuse under the hood and on the head unit both looked fine

yesterday morning i found my battery dead in my 05 gmc sierra and jumped it off and drove it to work left it for 9 hours and then went home and on the way home my lights started flickering my head unit turned off and brake codes pop'ed up and engine light came on. looked at voltage and it was on 10 volts. luckly i was almost home. got to looking today and found that my alt. to battery wire had burnt into. replaced it today but my head unit still has problems. The Head unit (JVC Arsenal KW -ADV 792) power light comes on but nothing else turns on screens and other buttons stay blank, it will play music for about 30 seconds then cuts out. Already try'ed: Under hood fuse and fuse on head unit unhooking rca's and remote wires resetting head unit unhooking battery Any help would be appreciated Thanks!
