no crossover just the headunit and amp

PRS-D2000T by premier 150 x 2 running on high freq

i double check and triple checked when i turn the bass knob up the start cutting out as i back off the subs the come back on im trippin i never came across this one\

i put together a spl pick up chev 2 door with a blow through box 4 15' sxx re audio pounding but at high spl my tweeter cut out the are beyma ast o9 why?
