Lol, well the 1:3 rule isn't always correct. On winISD it is built around your driver's specs and it is really easy to use. I taught myself over the course of an hour and swear by it.

You should model it in WinISD. All the 4ths I have ever made have been modeled in there and they worked almost perfectly subjective to the curves but the DB output is definitely conservative when modeling.well i have never built a fourth order box but i built a box for an 8 an it was pretty sweet was a old ass ppi 150 8 and people were thinking it was a 10 possible a 12
so this morning i built a box for a ma 12 400 rms and it was awesome totally just winging them no bs 1/3 ballpark and their sounding awesome truely wish i could build them to spec just have no idea how to determine

box can be 33 wide 36 deep and give or take 6 tall then the spare tire is bout 26 wide 10-12 tall and the depth is bout 14 but i was going to glass it ( the spare tire area) and height for the trunk to rear deck is bout 18 inchs
just looking to get alot of bass into my car which is a 2003 cts with out trunk rattle which i dont have too much even with the 15 in a 5 cubic ported box

You just need skirts and a lip. I plan on fabbing up some metal skirts for the Cobalt and the RX7 some time spring of next year.

Not low enough in the PS, need to put drag blocks on it and drop it to the floor at 60!
Just make sure you throw the blocks behind the gas tank.

I agree, Skar FTW. Haven't really had too many dealings with the c/s side but I have a pair of the MA-8's and have seen a 2500.1 and several of the vvx line and they are definitely over built. Keep it that way and you may be on Fosgate's level in a few years.

Started with a stolen pair of Audiobahn Eternals(I didn't know they were stolen at the time) in a 1986 Grand Prix, a kenwood amp, and a small fire back in 2003/04... Been addicted ever since.

Nice! You know, I always thought Malibu's and small cars in general look like ass with anything bigger than 18's... You changed my opinion on that. Car looks sick with those rims, now you just need MOAR LOW and camber and that will turn heads by itself.

Awesome! Some day I will be getting a 800.1 from you for my MA-8's. BTW they hit 131.1 termlab'd on 150wrms in a 1.0^ ported box... You guys make some little beasts. Debating on making an Isobaric T line with them...Just wondering, are any of these items still under warranty or sold as is? I noticed you said they still worked 100% and am interested...

What are the volume requirements? I have a pair of MA-8's in a 1cf box with a 15" long 2.5"x9.5" port and it hits well, has a steep drop off around 35htz and lower, my LPF is set to about 90htz and it hits well up to there. Port is tuned to 48htz.
