As the title says, im blowing my 15" BTL, due to the fact that one of the coils blew. so i was left with only 1 coil. Stupid box tuned to 51 Hz.

yeaaa 1000 Bucks for 1 battery is kinda ridicules. my amp is not that huge. but 4000 CCA that's crazy.

Im going into Street Max and i am only allowed 1 battery that can be no larger then 800 in^3 so that leaves out the XS power D3100.
I just was wondering if anybody had any experience with these. and for a non group 31 battery these things are expensive. When i put my amp at a half ohm i get a 460+ amp draw. soo i am open to any suggestions.

I justgot a package in the mail and it s a whole bunch of flyers, for a soundoff/ car show. loudest person will be given a 10' trophie. there will be trophies in all classes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, its's a localcomp a non point event but it very fun to go to. the classes will go by how many woofers you have and the size of the woofers, also if you have a wall or no wall. To enter it will coast $25. It will be in a parking lot next to the car wash to the right of it. I'll be there right after work.

you probably have to ground your RCA's and make sure there on a separate run from the amp and the power cable. ex. your power is ran on your right side on the vehicle and run your RCAs on the left side.

where do you put the speaker at for that?
i laid it on its back sub uo port on the bottom i had it raised about 1 inch over the speaker. i used a thin piece of plexi glass, and spray painted the back side of it.

I did this one in my physics class
mine did not look near as good as it did in this vid, but was cool, i used one of my big ass M-audio speackers and a tone gererator.
THey actually use these pysics to see where dead sound will be at rest. its the same thing as if we were in the roman time in the huge stadiums. they had no speakers but could hear everything that went on.

was talkin to a guy at the maxxonics 3x show last weekend. He was running 2 9515s of a stetsom amp. He said he tested the amp and it put out more power than its 1 ohm rating at about 2.6 ohms after box rise. He said the amps are just beasts, and he ran it daily.
One of the guys i know runs 4 10kd's all parallel strapped at 1/2 each amp and 1/4 ohm stapped. runs them daily, on 12 volts and does 160+db on 2 DD 18Z's
either stetsom or sounddigital are great amps. you will need to use 3/0 wire with around 700+ amp of current draw.
edit.. now he is running 14kd's

not sayign your wrong but i thought it was 3db for the mic to be doubled and 10 db for the human to hear doubled...
i may be wrong but thats what ive seen/heard before...does it mention that in your link Kian? i need to read over it...looks like it could be some good info

My subs are dual 2's im running my amp at .5 ohm. I need 2 seperate boxes or they wont fit in my trunk the opening and i dont want to build in cuz them its pretty much permanent at that point.
im buying a second 3000.1 for comps so each amp will be at 1 ohm on one alpha each for metering, i will just run one for daily.
i guess im happy with it it just does not meter well andit makes no sence to me. it sounds way louder than my old setup was but its only 2 db more on the meter?
Well every 3 dB's they say is double the intensity to the human ear. this isnt realy relivent but its kinda cool to read this.

I had a lot of fun blowing it. the BTL took soo much power to blow and with free air and 1 coil, i give the BTL props.
