  1. That is a rather huge lookin box, I do appreciate it, and yes I would love to see 2 in there as well, at 440$ start for one its tough....kids put my dreams off week after week, its always something that takes daddys savings lol... If I can save up enough I might need a box design for two!!! But for now I think that will be the winner!!! Thanks joe for your help, ill see what I can do about a link for some pics of the other box you gave me the help on....looks pretty schnazzy, cutom fabric on it as well....thanks again joe!!!!

  2. I was also going shallow and long like that to prevent sliding around in the vehicle or tipping over, as if that would be a problem with a 53 lb motor lol, my two tens in there box now slide to all beat hell in my 99 olds eighty eight, so I ratchet strapped to the trunk frame to the ports on both sides....

  3. its not that the box u designed is flawed just waiting to break the 12" in thats in it this box is a whoie new project for the van... would like the top mount idea because of all the free air space inside the van. you got my specs on what i would like but i dont know what lengths to make the l port.....any ideas joe

  4. ok, i see i got your attention without being a pest lol... thanks joe, you gave my friend a blueprint for the 12" pioneer champion series pro.... here was my idea for a box in the man van.... 33" long x 12"deep x 10" tall.... i didnt want a huge box but one big enough to mount the amp to the top of the box along with the top mounted dc xl, and still have room for the port....i did the math and with the displacement i found that a spacer at 17" with the displacement of .18 ft cubed will give me 1.00055555555.... do i need to make the spacer at 18" for the displacement of the l port? any help would be wonderful i want this 1 ten to be supreme in this 10" comp i got going...lol

  5. Also i already have a ton of subs, boxes and amps.... i have a custom box 1.5ft cubed tuned @ 34 hrz for a 12" pioneer champion series pro with a brz 1600d running it and two 10" lanzar max st's with a rockford p600.1 running them, just a change in the norm with dc and a 10 cuz im in a 10" comp with a few different people

  6. i want to keep the mini van a mini van, hense the single ten inch sub.... i got kids and tons of kids friends too so its always a challenge.... i didnt wanna go with a traditional box. created one with the displacement included in it.... 33" long x 12"deep x 10" tall.... with the dc audio reccommended size i would need a filler in the box around 19"... this would bring it back down to about 1ft cubed... my question rather is... isnt 1 cubed ft small for this monster sub?

  7. I vrealize alot of people who use this forum have dc audio so lets see what attentionb this question gets..... Im lookin at a dc audio 10 xl...22oo rms 4400 max, ill be running a brz 2100.1d, it will be in a mini van, the max dimensions i have to work with are 33" long x 15" deep x 15" tall... I see that dc audio reccommends 1 cubic ft tuned @ 38 hrz..... I thought 1cube was way small for this monster of a sub... anybody have any other thoughts on an enclosure for this beast????
