  1. Coming home from work last Saturday(my birthday) my gas pedal decided it didnt want to be mounted anymore and just slipped out of its groove and got stuck sideways, locking me up at about 3500rpm at about 50mph...this came to my attention right when the light turns red in 5-o-clock traffic...By the time I realized what was going on I hit the brake and tried to find an opening to slide into and attempt to stop. I got dangerously close to the Pontiac Firebird in front of me and I tried to swerve into the other lane, but it was too late...I clipped his rear driver side bumper and spun out...this is the result.....

Im out of pocket about $1500 on this thing w/o paint....gotta love liability only insurance...

  2. Wait....Since the tweeters say they come with a 2,500 Hz passive in-line crossover, wouldnt I be able to just hook them up to the front channel along with the 6.5's and not have to worry about anything?

No you would be getting the wrong ohm load, and giving a full range signal to your 6.5"s...

  3. Ok...what about terminals for the twp subs?...and carpet? ( grey carpet )

You dont really need terminal cups unless you will be removing the subs often. I usually just drill a hole in the box, run my wires through, and then silicone or hot glue around the hole to seal up any air leaks...If you want terminal cups, you can get them online at partsexpress.com or at your local car audio shop.

Carpet can also be bought online or at your local shop, and depending on the grade of carpet it can range anywhenr for $5-$15 a yard...You can also try finding this at your local fabric store...
