  7. I've got an enclosure to build tomorrow for a Level 4XL 12". I haven't played with an XL-12 yet and just wanted to get some feedback on those who have. Anyone Actually test the XL 12" in different enclosures at different tuning/airspace? Most likely I will try it at 1.75cubes tuned ~33-35Hz with ~25-30sq.in. of port...Please don't give me any guesstimates either, Ive built enclosures for years and know what I'm doing. I'm just looking for some input from anyone who has first hand experience with this driver... Thank You in advance...

  12. Used and babied by an experienced custom installer for around 4 months. The driver is in 10/10 Condition in both Mechanical and Cosmetics. Was ran off a ZX-300.1 and sounded incredible for the wattage and the price. Great heart pounding bass with smooth note transitions. In a 3ft^3@35Hz enclosure this sub did great on all musical styles. Reason for selling is upgrading to a higher wattage system...If you have any Questions please feel free to PM or E-Mail me...Thankyou for looking... Price: $100 Shipped T/S: Dual 4-Ohm RMS: 300w XMax: 18mm Fs: 33.2Hz Sens: 91.5dB Sealed: 1.5-2ft^3 Ported: 2.5ft^3 All packed up in the original box ready to ship out to you... (enclosure also for sale, PM if interested) Refs: Accordman, Ray, Zaxfire69, CPL Dozier, among others...
  13. Ive tuned 90% of my boxes at 35Hz and it does just fine. I find that the vehicle does a good job at helping to reproduce the lows and the slightly higher vent tuning helps keep the fequency range wider...
  14. Im upgrading my system and want to give my current enclosure a good home. Box is constructed with 3/4" MDF and covered with black automotive carpet. It's topped with a vinyl beauty panel with the embossed 'Blazer' text on it...Box is in excellent condition other than a barely noticable dent on one of the sides..9/10 condition. 15. Ballin' out of control man, might have to get me one of those bad boys...
  16. Pinned Thread in the DC subforum: DC Subs Videos Sounds like a pretty killer combo to me Logan...
  17. Well, its not SX vs LV4, but I just tested a LV2 against an SR and the DC had better frequency responce and more output both in sealed and ported applications...I've ran a few SX 18"s in my personal cars and I loved em, so I cant say anything bad. But I can say that the quality control and customer service will be much better from DC...
  18. If you were really "Making Money" you would actually own a "Mercedes Maybach"....
  19. Usually you get a test run or two before the actual competition...
  20. Well theres not a lot of installation info, but if you are looking for theory, this is a fantastic website... Basic Car Audio Electronics
  21. Like I said, they have changed thier prices more times than I can count...And I know they have been around since the mid '80s, which is why I said 'unknown to the average consumer'...Believe me, I support TC Sounds more than you know...
  22. An unknown comany to the average consumer charging $3000 for an 18" SQL sub. And $329 for an entry level 8"....Its a good thing they dont have to rely on Audiopulse or TC sales to stay afloat...
  23. They've redone thier dealer pricing numerous times now so who knows...My guess is it will still probably be ridiculous...
