No, i do all my friends systems when they pay for for cheap. They always complian idk why. I been doin it for almost 2 months so i have all the experience i need. I did my college teachers system last week. He came back to my house and his car was smoky. He said it was cuz i hooked up the subs directly to the battery which i ALWAYS do! I told him cuz he turned it way up. Way too loud!! He wanted his money back. I dont know what im doing wrong.?

Hi fellas, im lookin into powering 15 12' thump subs with a sony explod 100w peak/ 20,000w rms amplitude. I just need to know how i would go about wiring this setup. Jow many wires do i have to buy? Can i find some goid wires at walmart? Im putting my system in a 1963 buick. I know all of this will cost at least 10 grand... But im willing to spend the money to get the highest quality products money can buy. Im also looking to get some good 9' in speakers to put in my car dash of the car. I wanted the biggest speakers possible for that. I only measured 23 in along the car-dash with a measuring that i won at target the other day. I still want room for other stuff. So i could only surrender 18ins. I just need advice on how to wire my thump subs to my batterys ima buy so they can "thump". Lol

Not literally "shake the block." ive heard what two of these subs can do, and im very content with them. Im not exactly trying cause a world ending earthquake here.. I just meant really loud, really goid sounding bass.

Yea i know. 1 12 should be more than enough. I just want to shake the block. I figure 2 12s ported would fit my needs just fine. What do you think about the jl w6s?

How did they not have a flush mount? Did you have to do cut into the plastic?

Well the tweets are gonna be bright regardless, and im fine with that, I would just rather my mid speakers act as mid speakers, and not as mid-highs. I just want an equal balance throughout and havent really been able to find my match. The c3s fit my liking the best so far. The only downfall I have on the underground-type brands such as image dynamics, hybrid, morel so forth, is that I cant just go to my local car audio store and demo. I have to read reviews and go with my gut and hope I made the right choice.

See thats what I thought about the c5s. They just sounded shitty all around.

My buddy has some hybrids, thought they sounded pretty good. I dont know I felt like something was missing. I guess I need to do even more research. Maybe Hertz? And I dont know, I guess i get fooled into thinking the cheaper the product, the least productive. I guess thats why I occasionally go bankrupt with my "high end" spending. $130 is obviously a reasonable price, but will they perform like a higher end speaker? Doubtful! But i could be wrong.

Im looking into these speaker compos. Can anybody give me a decent review on them? Is there anything on the market better than these compos? I have no budget so im willing to spend what I need to. Im looking for best SQ, not bass. I have subs for that. Ive seen some nice looking focals. Im real big on mid-based, warm sounding speakers.. I dont want my ears to fall off with harsh highs. Any suggestions?

Well, I've done some research, talked to some pros, may need a little more advice. I just want to be positive i'm doing the right setup for this truck. I'm thinking I want to put two jl w12's in a custom center console build and tuned to spec. Or can anybody more experienced give me any better ideas? Im looking for SPL and SQ, but more SQ than anything. Do I have the right subs for the truck? As far as air space and space in general goes? How would you guys build the box? Ported? Sealed? Tuning? I listen to all kinds of music. I want them to sound good with anything. I also had the idea to throw a jl 10w3 in the mix. I invisioned 2 seperate setups, 2 bass knobs. The 2 12s for SPL, the 10 for SQ. Also, keep in mind i have no budget. Im willing to peice the setup together over a short period of time. I just need suggestions. Thanks.
