theres not because at the beginning of this semester we had to use wired for internet and they finally came around after 4 damn years of me being in here to finally install wireless for us. like i said im in apartments and they installed routers in each room in october and switched out the whole part of the wall where we cant even plug in a wired connection. ill try to go talk to our help desk area tomorrow where they have a computer solutions room with a few nerds in there who maybe can show me a way around it

the connection on my computer is pretty awful most of the time and usually gives me problems more than not, but i never had any problems with my xbox live so i may have screwed up

i cant connect wired because when they installed the routers they screwed with where we used to plug in the wired connection so you could only use their router

i checked and it did say type 3, is there anything i can do?

an update for the system itself or the psn? and ok ill go into the settings and tell you what is says

im on the internet here on a campus. each apartment has a router inside but theres no reset or anything like that theres just one wire going to it. my computer hasnt had any problems connecting and my xbox never did either. i finally got onto the playstation network store and downloaded a few demos. i then tried to play black ops 2 and madden 13 online and it wouldnt connect to either when i tried playing multiplayer

ive always been an xbox guy but i just got a ps3 to switch things up. i signed up for a playstation network name butr havent been able to connect. im using my wireless connection and the internet check shows everything is connected but wont ever let me get through. any suggestions?
