  1. This 8" 2 way set is out of my Vette and it is like new. They have less than an hour of play time on them. I didnt keep the box for the mids or crossovers but i have the box, all mounting parts, and both sets of rear tuning chambers for the tweeters and all the manuals.

Ive tried several different component sets in my car over the last 2 weeks and liked this set the best but now i want to build a custom 3 way set.

retail is $1049. i will let these go for $420 shipped.

  3. All the mobile electronics schools across the US are great for showing the basics and teaching advanced tecniques but nothing takes the place (or teaches as much) as day to day hands on experience.

The problem with all these schools is a kid can graduate in the top of his class and be able to build bad ass kick panels for a Ferarri but has no clue how to install a head unit in a Dodge Neon. These are the same "certified top installers" that catches their first car on fire or sets off an airbag in the bay of Circuit City - Best Buy trying to install a remote start.

I used to interview 10 of these kids a week fresh out of Acoustic Edge.

  4. i think i can build it in 1 piece and slide it in pulling front seats out, you dont? let me go look at it

yes...it can be done. But to follow every angle and get the most out of the available airspace, make it look and fit as good as possible, and be structurally safe and sound, it should be built inside the vehicle.

  5. 99 f150 ext cab can be max 58' wide door to door, 21"deep front back, 39' tall floor to roof and thats roughlly 27.5 cu ft ill get specs on woofers if ya want

The only way to do it right is piece by piece inside the vehicle. Dont settle for something generic that will just slide in throug the door.
