good explanation .. this is the current setup Battery --FUSE------------------------------------battery-CAP----AMPs i only have 2 batteries all together . Is that correct ?

its like 2 " after the 1st batt so i think i am safe? btw do i need any other fuses in there ? or is just the trip switch okay ? im running no distro blocks or nothing . 2 amps Big Mono and 2 channel for audio ( 80amp fuse in power line )

not really , just the fact that the back battery is not a kinetic or optima , its a normal auto battery but just a bigger juicier version. im running a std alt is there enough charging power from the front to the back ? Ultimately is the 12v reading correct on the second battery ?

Guys im running 2 bats and one cap . now most of you guys will say dump the cap , i only use it as a voltage reader so to speak . let me explain how its wired . From the front battery i have 2 strands of 4 gauge positive going to the back battery . From there its onto the positive terminal of the 2nd battery . then im running my earth off the body 2 strands of 4 gauge . the audiopipe cap is directly onto the 2nd battery and then running to the amp On idle it reads about 12v maybe just over or just under. it used to bump fine until earlier , when i bump it the voltage drops to around 10v and the 9v and then its starts flickering and eventually dies ? is this the cap or the battery ? its really damn annoying!

i did a 146 @ 40hz , so all n all its not too bad remember its entry level woofers with very little power going into them actually thought about walling it lol

well theres a diff between 1 12 doing a 150 @ 60hz and 2 15s doing it at 40hz

i think that it would bang a whole lot better if they close it up , thats like opening your trunk and dropping the mic a couple of feet away . also those boxes are tiny!

ill still have the 4 15s around , but i need something more practicle for daily. 5cuft sealed for the 2 15's i think 5 cuft ported might be a tad too small , although they are low powered , they might bottom out . is 5cuft ported too small for 2 15's ? oh the dd is the baby 1015a 600w rms single voice coil . although for a bottom entry level sub it makes alot of noise

Right , so my 4 15inch build is not a daily . i wish! i do however have some other woofers lying around . The most i could possibly squeeze in there is about 5 cu ft Net. thats enough for a boomy 15incher . but 1 15 is not enough especially not after the 4 15s ! so what do i do build a 5 cu ft sealed enclosure for 2 15s? i hardly think the 2.5 cuft per woofer is enough , unless in a common enclosure ? or drop my one 15inch DD in the 5 cu ft box tuned to 30hz help out guys!

Okay , i know pressure is pressure , but how does say 150 db's sound from 10's compared to 15's what im trying to say is , although i dont have a one note wonder , actually really far from it , but i have just been put to shame by 1 12inch woofer . and im running 4 15's . although when running music ill put him to shame 50 times over and im alot louder . how does this work? LOUDNESS VS SPL ? what im trying to understand or wonder is , would a car with 4 x12's vs 4 x 18s both doing exactly the same numbers , the one would obviously be louder . why ? is it the cone area? confused , can somebody explain ?
