The DiamondBoxx L is custom painted to match my car.
The DiamondBoxx M is blue with bed liner coating to make it more rugged when I take it places.

so when do you get it?
He said it should be at my house mid-August. I won't be home from Afghan till early/mid September.
Same thing happened with my custom painted DiamondBoxx L. He said it would take a few weeks, but I was a few months out so I didn't care.

Cool! I just looked at the specs. It says the woofer is crossed over at 2khz and the tweeter at 4khz. Is this gap noticeable in the mid range as it looks like it would be missing? Everyone seems to think these sound good so it must not be an issue. This would be perfect for me to take to work if it were a little more rugged.
Those numbers are electrical. Acoustical response will match up.
Congrats mr D'Amore on developing yet another amazing product. Next up: Model S with the ND91 and the Model XS with the ND65?
I may or may not have hear rumors of a Model XL in the works.
This dude gonna take all my money...... lol Worth it.

Not going to be of use in my big build.
But I can think of more than one use for these.
1. Removable boxes. (Obviously)
2. Jumper Cable setup in the rear of vehicles with large battery banks/walls.
3. Battery Charger quick connect.
4. .... idk damn, I'm no genius. -

I never noticed an issue with my big one. But that cut off isn't a solid stop, it's a slow drop-off. And as the speakers get closer together say playing 3,000Hz they will both be playing it making up any difference in output.
And that's why I'm getting the "Model M" and getting the tough "Bedliner" exterior so I won't mind bringing it more places.

Man I would have loved to have had access to all those awesome tools, equipment, and knowledge at his age. lol -
I suppose I could understand him being upset if he had some high dollar, high power amps that were making thousands less than they should..... but I mean....

Ordered this a while ago, told Tony not worry about rushing it since I'm in Saudi Arabia working.
Well it got delivered last week while I was in Germany on vacation, made me wish I had gone home just to see it. lol
The color is Bright Atlantic Blue, it matches my 98 Cobra.
The car in direct sunlight, so looks a little lighter than the box. Lots of metallic in the color so it can change alot based on lighting.Car at night in front my favorite sushi spot back home.

After meeting Tony at CES 2015, and hearing the Diamond Boxx's on display. I told him then, I'd buy one as soon as I could.
Well the time came a few weeks ago, I put in my order for one. When I did, I asked if the rear could come off so I could have it painted to match my car.
He said if I provided the paint code, he'd have it done for me!! I did, and he did!! Gonna be sweet!!
Color is Bright Atlantic Blue. They should match perfectly once they are under the same light.
My 1998 Mustang. "Cobra"...... GT with a WHOLE LOTTA Cobra love. LOL -

I'd say yes, stay 2ohm until you get more battery/alternator.

I'd have at LEAST 2-3 Group 31 batteries to power that at .5ohm.

As Strangeduck said, the woofers on the M don't play quite as low. But other than that, they are VERY similar in sound.
