Bought a BNIB Ct1400.1 from him about a month ago. Was skeptical about it at first because I had never bought anything online from another person but he lead me through the process of PayPal funding and all the other things really well. Amp shipped out day after I paid but when I got it it turned out to be DOA from CT, so I sent it back to him and he had another one sent to me a week later. Even paid the exchange fee himself. Really cool stand-up guy. Thanks again man for the damn good price and time. My first online experience was a good one (That's what she said haha). I recommend him to anyone.

I'm building my first box this weekend for my gf Pontiac G6. She has 2 Sundown E-10s on a SQ1200. I've been doing my research on box-building the last couple weeks so I think I'm ready to try my first one. I been trying to learn how to use Torres and after about an hour of playing with numbers tonite I came up with a box. Sundown specs suggest 2-2.5cubes for two E10s so I designed a box that is 2.89cubes gross volume and 2.48 cubes net volume and tuned to 33hz. Anyone with experience using the E woofer got any suggestions as to whether this box would be good for the amount of power or does it need to be bigger.

Yea I know you've got to make a living competing against internet sales but don't bash a name like Sundown because you don't carry it.

[Z v.3 SPL Enclosure]

I have 2 Zv3 15's in my 92 Accord. I have D2's so I right now I will have about 1200rms per sub until I get new amps. I do all of my installs myself except for the box building but the guy who builds my boxes has never built with Sundown before so I decided to post here first to see whats recommended. This build will be SPL only because I have another car for a daily setup and I plan on using a slot port instead of aero port. What box and port size do you guys recommend?

[Gain Setting or Gain Matching]

I confused as heck right now. I have two Planet Audio TQ1601's on 2 Z v.3's(D2). Right now I don't have the funds for both SMD tools so would it be better to buy a DD-1 and set my gains on both amps and then match them myself? Or set the gains myself and buy the CC-1 to gain match them? Or could I set my gains AND match them with one tool?

Just ordered my Z v.3 two weeks ago. Hopefully it'll be in this week. I'm putting 2 dual 2 15's in my 92 accord. I got D2s because I planned on running one amp per sub. I have four Planet Audio TQ1601s from my previous build so I plan on running 2 of them. I clamped one at a little over 1k before but a Z.v3 is rated 1.5k. I've seen where people dump 5-6k on them but I don't plan on using that much power. I plan to bump these daily and also do a some SPL (145-150db). How much power does it take to really get these subs going because I know my 1k per sub won't even tickle them. As of right now I'm thinking 2 DD M2's.
