I am about to get the Turtle Beach Ear Force XP500.

It has the Dolby Digital 7.1 Surround Sound. It is more expensive, but I have always liked the Turtle Beaches. Also, you can look at their X41, that is a best seller for them too.

they both run on 2.4ghz so everything interferes with it. as far as turtle beach is concerned the only ones id suggest are the z6a(replaced the HPA2) and a 5.1 decoder, and the px21s. the rest are meh at best

The clasic is considered gen 6. I have the same problem with my 9512. I have to use AV cables. I have a friend that says a touch works on his to play video. You may want to give that a try.
thats wierd. i tried it with a touch, a nano, and a class AND with a/v and it didnt work lol
my friend has a 9412. what do you have? With my 9512 I use the A/V cables and have to control everything on the ipod. the headunit controls only work for music.
owned the 9311 and the 9312. dont have either anymore though lol

all i know is neither of mine played ipod videos or showed pictures from day one and i used the jlink with the meda module. when i tried to search it up to see if i needed more stuff i found it posted somewhere that it doesnt play ipod video at all

Hey I have a Jesen 9311 Flipout in a friends car and it seems that it won't play videos from the ipod.
It will play the video on the ipod, and we can hear it but it doesn't show up on the screen it self.
We have the jLINK cable for it to do it, but it isn't working.
He has a iPOD Classic 80G 5TH Gen. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
toi my knowledge the 9311 and 9312(owned them) couldnt play videos from ipods. the HD versions may, but that part im not sure on
