  1. I have had a TC Sounds 5200 wich is no and Audiopulse. I have also have Audioque HDC 15s and they are very simmiliar to the DD 9500 series and all i have to say is that if anyone thinks that Audiopulse are louder is smoking crack. I ran my 5200 off about 3400 watts and i ran my AQ of of about 2200 since i was only running one at that time and the AQ was louder in less power than the TC. But if you are looking for SQ then i would say go with a sub from Audiopulse but if you are looking for all out spl then go with DD FI Atomic RE.

allright, I guess if i decide to switch to something bigger ill get whatever i can find availible to me at the time. Thanks guys

  2. yeah I agree with this statement 100% the DD would Shit on the Audiopluses in loudness

and I will help you get the Fi's if you really want them.

pay for them have them shipped to my house, you pay for the shipping from my house to yours.

OMG who did that 'SMD' welding in your sig.. Horible! (dont mind me, im just a welder). Thanks for the offer, i still can decide what to get. Id build a double box and just get one sub for now, id like to do some compititions eventually.

What about the LMS audiopluses? yea ok i get the axis is crap compared to DD

  3. type in audiopulse, yesterday someone was selling a couple of 18 inchers. $800 a piece

yea i was watching those, the same guy got both for $1600. except there 18's and im lookin for 15's. I dont have the space in my back seat for a dual 18's setup without walling. Im making more of a half wall setup with the subs firing up

I havent heard much about the axis subs, and the lms are way up on the limits of my price range. I can get 2 15 loaded BTL's for under $1000 from FI but they dont ship to canada :(

  4. I'd like to see it in ported enclosures plus a Kicker solo x in a sealed enclouse what a dog shite test that is.

I have 2 orion HCCA 15.4's in a ported box, net volume is 3cf per chamber and tuned to 35Hz. Im pushing them with a rockford T30001BD so there only getting about 1700w rms each @ 1ohm. They are very loud, and at moderate volume they are pretty crisp and deep. ITs enough to turn what was a solid review mirror into a limp noodle. and my sunroof will now pop open on its own so i have to be carfull in the car wash lol

  5. what about putting dynamat inside the box wouldnt that make it a tad louder?

Im interested in that one too.

Taking your seats out, carpet, and everything else isnt that hard. You just need some time and good weather. Going over a repair book for your car is also a good idea if your not sure how something comes off. You can get a set of interior fastener removers pretty cheap, there basically a big flat screw driver with a slot in it, makes it alot easyer and less chance of breaking one off

  6. heh, should of bought it from http://stores.ebay.com/High-Desert-Audio-Store

Might of paid $20-40 more for it, but would of ended up with a product you can smile about.

Someone else knows more then me about it, but the seller is a She? and works for RF?

    I forget all the details.

Except im a canadain and they dont ship to canada ive allready looked at their stuff. Witch is the main reason why i use ebay for alot of things, where i live its very limited on what i can get and its too expensive anyways. A local store sells the T40001BD for $2499 +tax, not exactly cheap and the T20001Bd for $1299.

  7. well likes already been said, he needs to take it up with the seller not RF. and then the seller isnt going to do anything as he DID have in the auction that there may be cosmetic issues with it.

So heres the final deal for everyone, the seller i bought it from said this "Here is our approval for being authorize to sell B-stock items online for Rockford. That unit was send to us from Rockford as a B-stock unit." and thats completely true, rockford confermed it with their approval number and the serial number from the amp. So the item i got was whatever rockford conciders B-Stock, working fine but cosmetically not so great. We talked for a while and agreed for me to get a $75 refund from them (or send it back for a complete refund but loose the shipping charges witch isnt worth it) and thats better than nothing. They are goin to change their add to be a lil more specific about the items. Its a shame they couldn't have said B-stock in the auction, i would have guessed at the condition right there. i am still happy with how it sounds, alot cleaner than what i had and it finshed my Stroker of no problems lol. Time to get a pair of Orion HCCA 15's i think

  8. your Ebay auction also says this:

    Warranty & Returns

This product is Remanufactured / Preowned and carries a 90 day limited warranty through Hi-Fi Audio. Some items may have minor cosmetic blemishes (scratches, dents etc.) which are not covered under warranty but do not affect the unit operation. Product images may differ from actual product appearance. Returns are handled on a case by case basis and require a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) for product repair or replacement. We do NOT issue credits or refunds. Please contact us via the customer service email below to obtain a RMA# prior to return. Please include the auction ID#, product serial number and your name in the email. The customer is responsible for all shipping fees. Any product shipped to us without a RMA# will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

They may consider your issues "minor cosmetic blemishes". Have you hooked the amp up? Does it work? Can you post some pics of the amp? Good luck dude.

Yea thats why i was thinking that Ebay itself might be my only option, i got this as a reply back from the site "They only fix the internals of the unit. They dont fix anything externally." ill post some pictures later when i have time, i have hooked it up and it does work. But would rockford let striped casing screws fall under "minor cosmetic blemishes" thats what im having a hard time dealing with. Im still wating for a reply back from rockford, and i cant do anything untill then

  9. RF i can pretty much guarantee will tell you its not. just seems like a classic case of a ebay seller lieing.

Looking more and more like that to me too, luckly with how the listing it described i shouldnt have too big of a problem with the ebay complant department.

    Thanks guys

  10. I have seen many refurbished amps from RF and never one that had issues like that.

I am sure if u bought a new retail amp u would be impressed.

    I would send it back!

    Good Luck!

Im planing on it, im going to wait for rockfords reply because the listing clearly states

" * Refurbished and SEALED by the manufacturer.

This unit is a manufacturer Class "A", Quality Refurbished and SEALED by the manufacturer,

Unit appears NEW in new brown box, and is guaranteed to work perfectly.

This Unit Comes with ALL accessories supplied by the manufacturer."

so if rockford puts a sticker on it and mine doesnt have one say hello Ebay complaint department, and goodbye peice of crap. I figured with the description on the listing i could trust a refrub, Id rather have a lightly scratched T3000 than no T3000.

  11. i got a t2k from rockford that was refurbished by them. the refurb sticker was in the upper corner of the right side. it was just a 2x2 inch square that said factory refurbished on it along with some other stuff.

I just went and looked and the only stickers on it are the ones saying the product model

  12. there would be a refurb sticker on the outside of the box and it should have a paper inside that says ts refurb from rockford

There was no paper inside, not even the manual just he amp, screw bag and bass control package. And ill have to check but i think the only sticker on the box was the model discription sticker (little while rectangular thing with RFT30001BD or somethin like that on it)

  13. theres are the chances you take when you dont buy something from a authorized dealer or refurbed for that matter.

No it wasnt from rockford directly. It was from a fairly large seller on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...N:IT&ih=015

And i figured i could trust the accuracy of thier site, ive delt with them before without any problems. Ive contacted them, same with rockford but nothing back yet. When Rockford re-certifies and item do they put some kind of mark or sticker on the item?

  14. So i just got my not so nice T30001 in the mail today, some of the screws holding the access panel to inside the amp are completely striped. Same with one holding the plastic peice around the power and ground connections. And on top of that the same piece of plastic is missing a nice crunk out of it, does rockford really send stuff out for sale as Remanufactured like this? im not impressed, i can handle the scratches on it but not this

  15. I would also upgrade your ground from your alt to your negative to your front battery to 0 guage also, With the postive from the alt 0 guage to the positive to the battery fused. Agree probally a 200 or 250 amp fuse.

There actually isnt one, its a one wire hookup on the alt and i planed on changing the stock ground up front to 0ga aswell. The reason why i put a gound from battery to battery is beacuse im going to have an extra run of 0 doing nothing. The 0ga i got in there now is welding cable (im a welder and got it free) and i wanted to make both runs of 0ga the same wire
