OMG who did that 'SMD' welding in your sig.. Horible! (dont mind me, im just a welder). Thanks for the offer, i still can decide what to get. Id build a double box and just get one sub for now, id like to do some compititions eventually. What about the LMS audiopluses? yea ok i get the axis is crap compared to DD
-
yea i was watching those, the same guy got both for $1600. except there 18's and im lookin for 15's. I dont have the space in my back seat for a dual 18's setup without walling. Im making more of a half wall setup with the subs firing up I havent heard much about the axis subs, and the lms are way up on the limits of my price range. I can get 2 15 loaded BTL's for under $1000 from FI but they dont ship to canada

So ive got 2 orion hcca 15.4's and its not loud enough for me. I may build another box and make it 3.5cf per chamber before i upgrade but i wanna know whats better. Im looking right now at the Soundstream XXX 15, TC Sounds LMS 15", or if i can find one a fully loaded 15" BTL. All with the intention to get a second one later on

I have 2 orion HCCA 15.4's in a ported box, net volume is 3cf per chamber and tuned to 35Hz. Im pushing them with a rockford T30001BD so there only getting about 1700w rms each @ 1ohm. They are very loud, and at moderate volume they are pretty crisp and deep. ITs enough to turn what was a solid review mirror into a limp noodle. and my sunroof will now pop open on its own so i have to be carfull in the car wash lol

Im interested in that one too. Taking your seats out, carpet, and everything else isnt that hard. You just need some time and good weather. Going over a repair book for your car is also a good idea if your not sure how something comes off. You can get a set of interior fastener removers pretty cheap, there basically a big flat screw driver with a slot in it, makes it alot easyer and less chance of breaking one off -
Same deal in canada. Ive found it avalible at a building/construction suppy store.

Except im a canadain and they dont ship to canada ive allready looked at their stuff. Witch is the main reason why i use ebay for alot of things, where i live its very limited on what i can get and its too expensive anyways. A local store sells the T40001BD for $2499 +tax, not exactly cheap and the T20001Bd for $1299.

So heres the final deal for everyone, the seller i bought it from said this "Here is our approval for being authorize to sell B-stock items online for Rockford. That unit was send to us from Rockford as a B-stock unit." and thats completely true, rockford confermed it with their approval number and the serial number from the amp. So the item i got was whatever rockford conciders B-Stock, working fine but cosmetically not so great. We talked for a while and agreed for me to get a $75 refund from them (or send it back for a complete refund but loose the shipping charges witch isnt worth it) and thats better than nothing. They are goin to change their add to be a lil more specific about the items. Its a shame they couldn't have said B-stock in the auction, i would have guessed at the condition right there. i am still happy with how it sounds, alot cleaner than what i had and it finshed my Stroker of no problems lol. Time to get a pair of Orion HCCA 15's i think
