  1. you CAN do manuals (neutral safety switch is highly reccomended, but not essential, it will work without it but you run the risk of it starting in gear which is veryeryvery bad)

you CAN do a car with no power locks (either disarm and unlock with key, or use aftermarket actuators)

carburetor is not something you'd want to mess with...chokes, pumping gas, unpredictable crank times...its all possible but not really something you'd want to mess with

(a lot of people put crate motors with fuel injection into older cars when the motor dies, we've had a few cars come through for remote starts and alarms that were basically resto-rods with a new crate motor and wheels and suspension, but old body and interior, classic style and modern running and reliability)

very well put thanks ray for the clarification lol

  2. Im going to say its your rca's picking up static.

they can pick up static if they are over the fuel pump in your

    gas tank i have read.

trust me on this bro i know what it is my subs did the same thing had to meet up with rusty he said a few of them have a clearance issue with the motors and well he was right the end result 2 brand new subs

  3. you can use 5/8 with out a problem in most applications if your going to be pre drilling your holes make sure to get plastic/plexi drill bits they are different than your normal drill bit more of a point at the end easily obtainable at your nearest taps plastic etc when you drill the wholes be sure to go in a lil bit than back out push in pull out (thats what she said) you get the idea yes and also use weather stripping between the two single sided adhesive 1/2 inch thick foam tape

  4. ok not sure how these look in the inside but see if its possible to tuck them into a cubby of open area along the sides could glass a couple boxes in pull em out wrap in the same material that way it can also be put back to stock if need be also looks real nice in the car maybe try and put a cover panel over the sub as well as to hide them and also look stock
