ok so i have a question for the guy who said acrylic boxes sound like shit how was the box put together like the front sides back top and bottoms ??? was it screwed together just askin cause ive never personally heard a plexi box that didnt sound good although ive never built one that wasnt exceptible to bobby gatelys standards so thats my q to you

so my box had 3 rr but i noticed the disk drive would get stuck from time to time so it finnally had no vid i fixed it it works fine now except the damn disk drive freezes up or reads games as dvd so i really want to buy a working one or mayby someone wants to part with a rrod box dnt have much money so i need it for the low low but i will pay a lil bit if need be or if local maybe some trade work or what not /no homo thanks lol

fo sho im going to try and redo everything before spending money

ok so i give up looks like its going to the shop any one know about how much it should be for a fresh install of xp ????? and whatever else i may need such as the drivers loaded and what not

ok so i changed the color mode now videos are fine and colors are correct but still cant play the game when the game is loading my tool bar on the bottom is still messed up its loads the game all the way untill i have o choose multiplayer, options,campaighn, etc....... and it freezes up i have o do a manual restart so any thing else i should try before i spend money i dont have ??????????

what color mode is the appropriate one ???

i did indeed i updated bothe direct x and the vid card driver at least from the dells web site and what it said i needed for the vid card i have version 9.0 for the direct x or whatever so ........ i wish i had someone here to see wtf is going on to alot of you its probablt something simple but like i said im a noob to computers are somethings are just better left alone lol

you think it was working fine before the new install and now like when i go to watch a video and such the colors are all bright and wrong almost as if im watching through a thermal imaging camera except more defined so my best bet would be to go and get a new vid card huh

yeah so its a no go sorry not workin i tried to run the diag and it says there are no problems yet i tried the game and once agian it froze and now all the images on the comp are pixalated

ok will try and reinstall direct x now and try the game will be back here shortly

so here goes someone please correct me if im wrong or im just a fuckin idiot i installed a new windows xp onto my desktop its a dell optiplex gx620 i just recently in the last 3 days tried to download all the drivers that the dell website said should be installed using my service tag heres the problem my roomie installed a few other drivers that didnt belong so for instance when i try to play a game like halo for pc it will either say runDXDIAG ???????? is that direct x and how the hell do i get it lol if it does go through to the menu screen on the game it just freezes up and i have to turn my comp off manually also if this helps when the game is opening my toolbar on the bottom of the screen looks all weird and pix elated

you should have no problems with this one i love these trucks easy as hell to do a blowthrough in lol
