paint it all black and leave a chrome/white lip around the outside! =D paint the two inner pieces black, leave the other alloy the color it is or paint it white or silver/chrome

My turn signals and my cruise control(on steering wheel) Both went out, they do not work. My hazzards work and so does my horn, but those 2 do not work. I changed out the "flasher" unit and it didnt effect the turn signals or the cruise so i put old one back in.. I checked my manual for a fuse or something and doesnt say any fuse for cruise control or turn signals. it gives info on the turn signal relay and says located under steering column.. But only thing there is flasher and already tried that. Any ideas fellas? Its a 2000 Ford Contour Sport (if that helps any)

how is it now? With the short-throw? I guess that I was so used to the way my car's gears and clutch and stuff were setup that when i got into the car, the clutch was featherlight and the gears were like 5x's tighter than my car so to me it felt like it was short-throw

yes, the 08, they have really tight shifting, took me a min to realize i'm alreayd in gear lol.. I driven one car with short throw but this is just very nice!! I love it! I'm not sure if I can get this car though, cuz my parents dont want to co-sign and i dont have lot of credit built up so i got to work on that, and my mom thinks its too much monthly payments for car and insurance for me to be paying while still in school. only one more year left of school so i can prolly wait but, my CAR, its POOPED OUT on me, i need new one!! lol

and the v-tec, its around 5500-6500 RPM, i wasnt paying too close attention, but prolly closer to 6000. Its amazing feel too!! =D

it was prolly mine! =D MacCivic @ 8thcivic.com The shifter is a whole lot TIGHTER, its like 1 inch into another gear, I had miner very miner difficulty at first cuz i'm so used to regular old shifter distance. Sales person called it something I forget but its real tight shifting. Awesome car! And maybe the dealership cut a wire when I was out driving lol

DUDE!! the ride is AMAZING, its so quick!! that engine just roars as soon as it hits them higher RPMs, my car now sounds like junk when I get that high but this man, it just SCREAMS for more concrete!! lol. It amazing, it just takes off in every gear. Sounds nice revving it up!!

Well i'm looking at an 08, there was a used sedan, I cant recall the price cuz I missed it, didnt see it till the guy mentioned it to me, but about 20,000 is new. so hopefully couple G's less, but the one I saw when I left had after market exhaust, tint, and after market rims, so who knows..

Oh I do love it!! I would love to trade in right now but its not in my budget, I need to get this full time job where I work, i'm hoping to get it this summer or beginning of next year then i'll be set for the new ride!! I want it so bad!! MAN!!! I loved the ride!

Man, I went to dealer did some talking and finally test drove the thang! Dealer let me loose on my own, said to be back in 15 or so min. (i returned 30min later) I took this baby for a spin, test drove the Si coupe, but I want to buy Sedan, anyway, its the sickest car i've had the chance to drive!! More fun than my grandfather's BMW Z4!! I wasnt use to how easy the clutch is, i have 2000 ford contour (FTL) and used to its clutch, the civic's seemed to just drop to the floor when I touch it, thats how easy it was. Has the Short throw shifter, its like half an inch to shift to the next gear!! Its awesome!! Nice bucket seats!! its awesome! I pulled out of the dealer, pulled up to red light, didn mean to but I scratched the tires in first and second lol.. some lady thought I was racing her or something but i was just trying to get used to the clutch on this car. I LOVE the Vtec kick'n in around 6000 RPMS its amazingly loud and quick! Its fast up to 6000 RPM then it just grabs the ground and just takes off!! its crazy!!! Then I shifted into second and I didnt even try but it just spins them tires going into 2nd, I think i almost spun them goin into 3rd but I had to slow down cuz i was exceeding the speed limit already...lol Its fun dropping it a gear and taking off!! that was fun!! It has 6 gears, I went from 6th to 4th and it just took off! I slowly revved up to 4000 RPM while in first then floored it and it just screamed!! I love the feel of the ride, its just amazing!! DOWNSIDE!!!!!!!......... I got back to the dealer, got in my car, i drove less than 1/8 mile and my car DIES!!! what is this..? So Ironic that my car is running just fine, I go test drive a brand new car, then get back in mine and it just dies.. So basically I'm bit on the downside about my car right now. Prolly would have been fine if my car just broke down but its worse having been so thrilled and excited over test driving the Si and then to have my car break down just flat out sucked! But yea, that was my fun for the day..

But REALLY.. what is the cheapest I can add some noise to my car. My parents know I'm getting new car and they would say i'm retarted if i spend like 100$ on exhaust for the car i plan to sell..lol. could i easily add a muffler for 30$?

I'm not getting the Mugen, i have already decided im not going to be 1 of 1000 who own it. lol. too much money for me really, i just havnt changed my sig. I am getting the 08 Civic Si Sedan. Prolly Black, White, or the Metalic Blue color.

Yes, it does add a glossy look out of the spray bottle but i think that depends on the temperature you apply it too.. i think the warmer the more the paint will be able to smoothen out. Its cold now but i put them next to a space heater for 30 min. before painting.. lol. But yes, its glossy, not dull, but i'm going to get some clear coat gloss of some kind liek the automotive clear so that it will make them shine nicely!

as far as i know, those like black covers that people put on their headlights cover the turn signal, so if you applied some tint spray to it enough to make a difference but not too much that it wouldnt be easily seen, then GO FOR IT! I think the tinted look is pretty tight and as long as its not dark enough you dont see the lights then i think its fine. The spray bottle DID say off road use only, but they say that about a lot of products we put on for daily use. lol.

cutting it off I could do. clamps, i guess i'd have to find those.. i'd rather just get it done by someone who knows what they doin and pay them but i dont feel like paying buttloads, its just for fun, just want some noise, if its gonna cost more than 100$ total then forget it.. i'm getting new car anyway

holy crap, just to cut off my muffler and put on one i already have.. so installation is over 100$? Doesnt seem right unless im really missing something..

I didnt shop around for any the clear coat, does walmart or lowes carry it? Auto Zone maybe? I seen what my lights look like at night and they shine through like a champ!! I think i might go darker lol. one more coat of tint then clear.

how much do you think it would cost to get this muffler put on? anyone have an idea?
