Ok i have the demensions but i need a program that i can type this into and someone to help my with the port demensions and design. the shape of the box is different and it has to be to fit in the trunk space i have. Depth 3 feet 1 1/2 inches (37 1/2 inches) width- 3ft 1 inch (37 inches) now the interestin part of the messurements. the back and front peices have to be different hiegths. back heigth= 16 inches front heigth= 19 3/4 inches if someone could help me with this or draw up a design let me know thanks. oh and how many sheets of MDF will i need? i ned to know that 2 thanks!

Looking for a decent amp for the Fi SSD 18 im getting. i only have 161 bucks to spend on it. so can anyone tell me what a decent amp would be to power that sub and be the right price? i need some opionions on it. id perfer it to be able to do a 1Ohm load....but if there is a good amp out there that doesnt do 1 ohm and it will power the sub decently then by all means let me know. thanks in advance.

uhh right now i got a 3.9 cubic foot box in there...i can go about 15 in high and 28 inches wide and 36 inches long....maybe a little more on the demensions. ill have to check but the last box i made ( my current one ) fits fine with maybe a foot or more space left between the trunk and the face of the box. i can slop the front if needed to make the sub fit. cuz ik if i try to do it straight up and down it prolly wont fit. idk id have to take the 18" templet i have and go check.

oh and a 18 and a decent amp is deff better than my alpine. specially a Fi 18 lol

ive got plenty of wiring lol. my uncle delivers stuff for audio stores...i get free wiring and connectors. but all i need now is to calulate the port and box demenisions.

one more thing...how big should i make this box and can someone help me design one? i cant decide if i want the 18 to face towards the trunk or up to the sky lol. and idk bout port for this one. im not gonna use a calc for it..so i need some help with the port if some of u can help me. i dont have a program to do this with..so im kinda screwed lol.

thats not bad at all...but would 450 bucks get me the sub that amp and money to buy wood and screws? and for that ssd...what configurations should i pu on it? flatwind coil copper coil bp power?

Ok, im selling my 2 12" alpine type R's to a kid i go to BOCES with for 450 bucks. for the amp and the box and 2 subs. so..now i have 450 bucks to spend on equipment. Im looking for something thats louder than my 2 12" type r's and i would perfer a 15" or a 18" or whatever u guys think would be louder. So can someone give me opinions of what sub(s) to get and what amp to get? all the help is highly apretiated. Thanks, -Justin-
