My experiences are with TBI spacers on 4.3's & V-8 conversions on astro vans (yes they fit,but its close!!).Current types are Power Towers with a swirl bore.I do see a more linear gain in torque.

I used to work in the battery buisness & I did my share of 1/0 - 4/0 cable building for multiple battery banks.We used both crimping/soldering.Most terminal ends are basic copper,some brass,some titanium coated,& magnesium coated....All serving a certain purpose,IE: commercial banks,marine,& automotive.I have had seperation failure with soldered ends due to high heat & large amperage pulls (well over 2000 amps) on a carbon pile load test.I have also had crimp failure due to incorrect crimp GA to cable configuration.Both methods work sufficiently if built correctly.

Ive searched as well & came up with those perameters you mentioned.Im off for 10 days now so perhaps I'll begin building,we'll see with this smokin hot weather,I'd rather be at the beach.

Hi,a total Newbie here from BC Canada.
I have plans to run a 18" solo x in a wall in my astro van.Plans are for (to start) with a DD audio 3000 watt amp & a spare battery(ies),wiring,alt upgrade,etc etc etc.Ideas are to run street beat & not SPL(yeah I know I posted it under SPL :.Id like to run the sub between & directly behind the two front seats.Any of you have Ideas,recommendations as to Cubic feet box size,port dimentions???,Im kinda Stumped,Im not looking for SQ,just would like it to be reliable & hit hard.
