  1. Alright heres the story. I put up a wanted add for some hifonics old school VII and VIII amps. I get a pm from jsuther saying the following " Hello, Please contact Tim on [email protected] regarding your Request. He has for sale and he is in the United Kingdom and can arrange shipping. I purchased items from him and they arrived in TOP condition." So i email the guy and ask. He says hes got a series VIII Colossus i ask to see pictures and price. He sends me "Find attachment of my HiFonics VIII Colossus. Its in good working condition. I am asking a $500USD and price includes shipping. I will be shipping via UPS or FedEx which ever you prefer and will take payment via Money gram. Whats your shipping address?" Naturally the money gram throws up a red flag so i ask i he has paypal and he says " I will take a Money gram Payment as am not compelled to do PayPal stuff." Last i knew paypal was cake to setup. Also i noticed a "amp performance" mark on the bottom right corner of the pictures he sent. So i did some google and found www.amp-performance.de the .de is a german website. I am currently stationed in Germany serving in the military and i see .de everywhere here. So on the website of amp performance if you go to "Verstärker messergenbnisse" and then to hifonics it will clearly show the same amps he sent me in a email. Clearly an attempted and failed scam. I just want to warn you guys.
