From wikipedia,
QuoteVapor polishing is a method of polishing plastics to reduce the surface roughness or improve clarity. Typically, a component is exposed to a chemical vapor causing the surface to flow thereby improving the surface finish. This method of polishing is frequently used to return clear materials to an optical quality finish after machining. Vapor polishing works well in the internal features of components.
Feature size changes of the plastic component generally do not occur. Post stress relieving is usually required as vapor polishing sets up surface stresses that can cause crazing.
Plastics that respond well to vapor polishing are polycarbonate, acrylic, polysulfone, PEI, and ABS.
The technique is also being used to improve the surface of objects created with 3D printing techniques. As the printer deposits layer upon layer of material to build the object, the surface is often not entirely smooth. The smoothness of the surface can be greatly increased by vapor polishing.[1]
Has that crazing ever been an issue with pieces you've done Steve?
Very cool, thanks for showing us that Steve ??

SpaceX nailed the twin landing of the outside boosters on the Falcon Heavy today! If you missed the launch it's worth a watch
Ii watched it live and being a space geek that i am i'll admit i got choked up a little that was history being made and i got to see streamed live !
They put a dummy in the drivers seat of the roadster and it's wearing the space suits that SpacX designed for astronauts riding in the capsule they designed.
The center booster didn't have enough of the stuff need to ignite all the engines and it didn't make the landing on the drone ship out at sea apparently.

Contemplating picking one of these up myself when the tax return comes in. Probably go for the 47 myself and save some space.
With a 4000w max rating on the 500F a person would probably want to half that for rms power right?
I have a system total of 2400w rated rms stepping up to something in the 1000F series would probably be unnecessary ? My only reason for considering the 1000F is i could probably ditch the two group 65 AGM's in the bed of my truck and save about 100lbs of weight.

Posted a couple days ago from a 25-30c warmup and the moisture in the air making the roads frosty and slick.
Didn't stop one guy from being clocked 50km/h over the limit (150ish km/h or about 95mph) on the ring road surrounding the city

Brumation is a term used for the hibernation-like state that cold-blooded animals utilize during very cold weather. On the other end of the spectrum is a state known as aestivation, which like brumation, provides a way for reptiles to handle temperature extremes.

That’s a unsecured load ticket waiting to happen.
Doesn’t happen up here often but you hear about it 1-2 times every winter.
