which roundover bits you guys use. i have a porter cable router and the bit i use doesn't go back past the plate far enough. in other words if i used the bit with the plate i would end up with a lip and then a rounded edge. i took off the plate to pushed the bit farther back but just wanted to get some opinions ideas and what size roundovers you're all using.

that's not too bad considering some shops here charge $5.00/ft. shipping sucks to hawaii. don't let me get into ordring stereo stuff and the shipping is more than the product. but that's a whole different story. sorry. good luck on your install btw.

10" loaded bl. to a 30001bd. thinking about going more or bigger woofers later, but can this work with a single 10? i was thinking of running it at 4 ohms daily, then switch to 1 ohm for the local comp.

isn't the coil internal on that car? also if it's cranking, then the starter is working. if you turn the key and nothing, then maybe starter. if you have to hit the starter, then yah starter. i would first check your voltage when you're cranking ansd see what it is. if it goes below say 8v, try hook up a pack or a battery charger and see if it starts faster. if it does, change the battery. just my 2 cents.

probably 800. i'm looking for a t2k and a t8004 also. just came back from a local shop and was seriously thinking about the 360.2. cheaper than a deck and i think it would solve my problems. what do you guys think? don't need navigation and dvd because i live on a rock. it takes about 40 min. to get anywhere here.

i'm actually stuck between a deck and a 360.2. i just need to clean up my signal and not sure the 360 would do it. i want to mainly get rid of the inline converters and get something i can hook up an ipod to.

toyota matrix. kinda wanted to keep the stock deck but i was just avoiding the real problem, it's stock. what h/u would you guys suggest?

thanks man. how do i fit that in the box? lol this lil box, because of the small net cu ft. is gonna end up a big box any ways. i was also thinking about adding some 2x4's to my existing box but that would mess up my tuning frequency.

any suggestions on port area and length for a 1.2-1.5 cu. ft. box?

sorry matrix. so it's not the 90 degree bends it's the port area? and i seen meades kerf cuts, would that help at the port opening?

thanks guys. my next question... i want sub up port back, but is it better to keep the ports closer together, far apart or does it matter. i don't mind slot porting the box, but i don't want port noise. biger port less noise or smaller port? right now it's 2x12". what do you guys suggest. let me get a pic of what i have.

okay i need some help. i have a 10" bl and want to make a new enclosure for it. right now it's a 2 cu. ft. enclousure with 24 sq. in. of port tuned at about 33-35 hz. it sounds okay but i am getting some port noise..... a lot of port noise. i want to build it to fi specs but i can't for the life of me figure out how to put aeroports or precision ports inside the box. looking at how long the ports gotta be, it seems that i have to make them external which i don't want. so my main question is, how do i get the ports inside the box and if i have to slot port it, how big should i go with the least amount of port noise? also, i really don't want 90 bends in the port. what do you guys suggest? i've been on this dilema for about two weeks and any and all input is welcome and appreciated.

i forgot to mention it's a dual 2 ohm sub. thanks again.

thanks a lot guys. so it would be all right with dual 2 ohm woofer? it looks like the diagram says i need a min. 2 ohm load. i could be wrong, but if i wire it like that would i be at a 1 ohm load parallel? just don't wnat to burn anything. thanks in advance and you guys are the greatest! also, if i do run each coil to each amp and have one master and one slave, each amp would see a 2 ohm load?
