Alright bro, I'll let you know as soohimd I talk to him!
-
I'm going to see the Guy today, let me ask him how much he would charge to do your split bench and Ill also ask him about the carpet & headliner.
You looking for original or custom work, cloth or leather and what color?
I chose to get the material myself because I was looking for a specific color.but I can ask him for a prices with and without material if you want.
-
Yeah but that's for 2 seats only. What are you looking to get done?
-
I know a Guy that works with an upholster at a shop. He is gonna redo my seats on his spare time.
I got 2 hides of leather and 4 stingray hides for about $700. I'll post some pics when I get back from work.
Each hide is about 50 square feet, so I should be good with one hide for just the seats and imma use the other one for miscellaneous parts!
And yeah, I'm in LA.

I'm getting 2 seats reupholstered for $350, but I'm supplying the material (leather).

Well my car is in the paint booth and now that it's all taken a part I figured I might as well smoke out my tailights and turn indicators, my question is, how have you all done it and what have been your results? i'm looking to get a glossy finish as if they came blacked out stock, I want to make them as dark as possible without completely ruining the transparency of the lights, and what paint have you used? is there a specific type of paint to smoke lights? what's your favorite type of paint if you have done it?
Best way for me has been using black toner mixed with intercoat clear and clearcoat afterwards...
I'll post some pics in a few minutes, I just gotta track em down...

Post up some pics bro. If its too severe than it might not be worth fixing but getting a new one instead. At the body shop I'm working at has fixed moderate cracks using this.

Happy B-day bro,
-
That's pretty bad-ass, Kudos to all you guys!!!!
-
You guys are too funny!!!
-
Funny thing is that the materials themselves aren't that expensive, well the y are compared to regular paint but nowhere near the 5-10k that is usually charged.
-
I'll do it for free.lol
But really:
I say 3-5 grand depending on the bodywork needed.
-
I could swear I saw a build for this truck a while back, either way bad-ass truck bro!
Got my vote
Yes I found the build log.
And hopefully this will help you guys vote for the OP!!!
-
If you like it than go for it!
I had originally that it was just the flashy paint, but if its modded or whatever (I'm not game savy) then why not.
-
get some rattlecan paint and do some custom shit yourself, it really isn't that hard!
-
wth dude, are you on the lookout for one of these or what???
lol just kiddin.
-
IMO that's exactly what happened.
He might have thought he could still hang, but the docs weren't hearing it.
-
Sorry to hear this bro, keep ya head up!
-
Good thing they stopped it, no fight is worth losing an eye for IMO.
-
Where the vids at?
And nice job on the box bro!
-
Just have Steve's guy sandpaper it down for you. Worked wonders on his hood. Should be the same touch-up for this.

Yeah, I was kidding about the filler. They'll probably cut out part of the quarter and weld in a replacement section.
Body damage is a nightmare. I'm still fixing mine, and it's been almost two years.
Alot of the shops that do work for cheap use this method. They would rather slap a bunch of filler and shape it rather than to spend the time and work the metal itself.Hence the saying you get what you pay for!
-
I could fix that with one can of filler in less than 4 hours.
But looking closer at those pics I see now that the quarter panel is warped and creased pretty far back. OUCH.
I wouldn't want that much body filler on a whole car let alone just the corner and the door.
But hey, not saying that there aint mickey-mouse shops that do this kinda bs work.
I doubt that N8 would let this happen!
