  1. alrighty then forget the passive xovers. Lol i was just unsure.

basically im ditching the rear speakers completely

Wana do 4 tweets and PWX 6.5 in front. i already have the tweeters so ima use them until they blow up then ill get a different set.

but would 4 tweeters drown out two pwx's? and would this front stage keep up with a single 12"xcon on 1500-2k watts?

  2. i wanna buy one 4 channel amp to run my front stage.. was looking at the 125.4 because it has so many crossover options..

i wanna run 4 kicker tweeters (already have them from an old setup.) 4ohm ....but if i wire the channel 1/2 to an 8ohm load on each side it would be 120/2= 60 watts so 30 watts each tweet.

then i for midrange was thinking the Crescendo PWX 6.5 or maybe neopro 6.5 (not a VS thread please dont lock)at 125 watts on channel 3/4..

would this work? id love for somebody from sundown to chime in

  3. 80 sq ft is the largest pack offered by second skin and considered a shop pack

You should have enough to cover your entire car and then some, if you apply it properly

also that bstock is a mix of damp and damp pro

damplifer weighs .35pounds per square foot

damp pro weighs .60pounds per square foot

So the exact sq ft you will receive is an unknown variable that we need to effectively answer your question

If the entire bstock is damp pro you should get around 66 sq ft

if the whole stock is regular damp you should get around 114 sq ft

A trunk kit is usually only 14-20 sq ft

A car kit with other brands is usually only 40-60 sq ft

that sounds good either way. i cou;d just sort it out then use the damp pro on the trunk and rear deck and the regular damp on the doors and other shit lol.. this is workong out better then i thought lol :domodance:

  4. Level 4 on 2k.

even tho its rated at 1400 rms?

They are underrated, if you are smart about it, and design a good box, it will take 2kw all day long. But you have to make sure you arent clipping causing a ton of extra heat.

i was gonna go with a crescendo bc2000d or maybe a used dc 2k..

i wanna wire low so box rise doesnt kill me... where can i find wiring for the .7 coils? 1.4 coils?

  5. i wanna build a 4th order in a 99 Infiniti I30 Limited (same as maxima) ported thru the skihole..

i want a single 12" and wanna run 2k rms to the sub.

Would the Level 4 take the 2000 daily? r upgrade it to XL parts to handle it??

or would the XL12 work in a 4th order bandpass? because DC site doesnt give the XL sealed specs and 4th orders are better for sealed subs..

Basically what im asking is should i go XL 12 or Level 4 12"?

I dont wanna take up the whole trunk hence the 1 12" or id go 2 12's or 15's but heres a pic of the trunk.. minus the aftermarket floor liner.
