    i do believr the "free-air" speaks were designed to work in extremely large enclosure, ie trunk...10-15 cubic feet. but to even get the best out of a free- air sub you need to make the trunk air tight or it will unload on you with too much power. never used free air myself but just what i read back in the early 90's edit....what steve was doing with the 10 on the tailgate is what you call fun

    alarm hooked up to headlght circuit? on those old rides that had the hideaway lights the acuators were vacuum operated so there would not be any consistency with a light flash pulse frome a security system

    does it have t-tops that you are removing on and off how much bass are you looking for do you still want site out of your back window. there are a lot of factors involved in setting up a system. (in a 82-92) but for cheap... you can get good sound just building a baffle that spans over the trunk well make it as air-tight as you can...and drop in a pair of twelves, mount the amp under it. roll with that until you want to spend more money on the stereo then the car is worth do some research on lots of camaro(and firebird) setups and pick what you like. build good luck

    Hi, i was wondering if anybody here has ever made their own bass knob or alternative. I bought a peice of rj-45 that was modified somehow and i dint need the bass knob, it was about 3 inches long and was obviously homemade. I just dont feel like paying $30-$50 each on ebay for a knob because i need like 5 of them.Any help or info will be appreciated.

    ^^^^x2 i remember many boxes when i was young that were spray-painted with early 90's graphics heartbeats etc . and if its the oak look...stain and clear it. lets bring some "damn that looks great" back in the same paragraph as "holy shit that is loud"
