  1. Well, what I'm looking for is 3 alike amps.

2 hi-power 2 ch amps 1 for the front stage and another for the rear.

and a good 4ch amp for the tweeters and horns.

I would like to recess them into the floor just behind the front seats.

have you looked into the new boston amps... or even the alpine pdx amps? both have great power and sound

  2. Im about to put my 5900 in but i have a few questions.

    1) For the back up battery they say to wire the trigger wire to a "ground when triggered" Wire coming off of the alarm, which one would be best?

2)I am wiring 2 shock sensors, just hook them up together? Parallel i guess?

    3) 2 sirens outside and 1 piezo inside i shouldnt need a relay correct?

    Thanks ahead of time

1=blue trunk wire on main brain harness

2=shock sensor plug has one side with a tail, that side plugs into brain, take secon shock sensor and combine bl/grn wires togethe on that one tail wire. hook the red to a pos 12v and black to ground.

3= no relay... do it all the time

4= start act input gets no connection, used for optional accy like a remortstart temp/clock timer start.

small black/white stripe goes to ground, dont need to use the toggle.

  3. decided it was time to let the wife have a little bump so here is the plan small inclosure (so to not take any room from the dogs...) got the pioneerBT deck, RF P3002, single run of 2g. still have the single 12 enclosure that i built to fit under the 2nd row last year but that was for her last ride. New truck=new idea. My plan for this one is to relocate the jack-storage and put a 12 in that location; but try to make it appear as stock as possible. Will post pics throughout the build.

  4. CAUSE everyone keeps tellin me that it willl get alot louder if i make a bigger port. and plus i want it louder who doesnt lol

bigger port allows the sub to move more with less power...so if you have the same power your subs will have more excursion.... more ex = more potential spl. you can reproduce your sound that you desire with experimenting on length of port for daily use; but will have the ability to let it sing when you need to MAKE IT BIGGER

  5. Ill start off by saying that for right now i dont have $ for a new head unit. i have a CDA7893 and it will skip at full tilt...tried a kenwood excelon 7?? and it is worse. So re instaled the Alpine and hooked up a changer that i had lying around. if the changer is secured down it still skips! if i have the changer just resting on the floor it will only chatter a little bit(not full cuttout like the deck but still a noticeable problem. any ideas how to mount it with vibration damping in mind?

  6. well just got them in tonite... had to get rid of a battery to make it fit but hope to get a kenetic soon enough for under the box....results...LOUD!!!!! make you have to think about every gulp you take on some of the higher bass notes. 150+ on music???? we will see.
