I want to build a box for my 10 inch subs that is tuned to 35 hertz instead of 40 hertz.
Most of my 10s have an Fs of 38 hertz and some have Fs of 33 hertz.
What is the consequence for tuning below Fs?

Incase you didn't notice before I disapered my head was getting all fucked up and strung out. I'm proud to say that I'm doing better and I'm starting to care about things again and to an extent I enjoy trying to inform others.
I also moved back to Ohio and had to get internet back too. Life is moving in a positive direction and hopefully I will be seen more often to help out.

Me personally have always used a bass boost and if I wasn't lazy I would do a write up about it.
Fact, your gain control only has one setting on it per different head unit.
The bass boost would be useful depending on the type of music you listen too. LOL this is why I run RF.
I'm a huge rock and heavy metal fan and that is where a bass boost comes into play for me. A variable bass boost can come in real handy if you need help emphasizing your resonant frequency.
Unfortunetly the bass boost has become the death of many woofers to many new comers to car audio.
PS if you set up your bass boost for rock and metal and then tried to play rap witch already has an emphasis recorded into the bass at the same volume level as you play rock you will clip and then blow your subs in a short period of time.
If you want to run your bass boost than you need to turn your gain down to allow for the boosted output from the bass boost.

Yes its normal.
That is a very common anti vibration technique and there is nothing to worry about.
Sometimes you will see that in the capacitor banks too.

Its a huge deal here in Ohio. Everyone here drug test unless you own your own company or want to make minimum wage.
I personally think coke,pills,Meth,H and alchol are more dangerous and do not comprehend the threat of me smoking pot once in a while.

im sorry, but you are very confusing right now. i think you are misunderstanding my pet peeve.
i am not talking about the act of smoking weed, i am only referring to posting the reference letting everyone know you do smoke weed in a screenname. nothing more. i have no issues with homosexuality, and have a best friend who is gay and family members, but it doesnt need to be a screenname either, lol.
i live in alaska, it is legal here. so i have no issues there.
if a company chooses to test and hold marijuana against you, that is up to them and i applaud any company that does. i also appluad the many companies that do not drug test because they dont think its that important. and what would i need to worry about? i own two companies of my own...and i do not drug test my 5 employees, lol.
and to be honest, no. i do not want the rules to be changed. i do not think it should be legalized. everyone is exactly where they want to be, thats one of my philosophies. if you want a job with a company that tests for drugs and will deny employment based off of those results, then YOU make the big boy decision to either smoke or not to smoke. dont blame the government. truth is weed can have adverse effects and how is a company to know that when they tested you because you backed the company van over two employees you smoked last week and not on lunch? they cant. so they test to keep it out exclusively to be safe.

I just think it sucks that I like to smoke pot once in a great while but if I want to smoke pot once in a while in my area I take the chance of losing a good job because of pop drug test.
Smoke pot once and there is a good chance you will fail a drug test for the next 2 weeks after you have gotten high.
What harm have I done for smoking a little pot on a saturday?

Aren't 125 amp ANL fuse's easy to find?
My favorite company Stinger.
Yeah, couldnt find them on sonicelctronix...but then found them on darvex. $5 per fuse is rape though.
$5 for a ANL fuse is a hell of a deal.
If I tried to buy ANY ANL fuse locally it would cost between $9 to $12.

Pot heads are harmless for the most part, even kill less then drunk drivers. Maybe we make such a big deal out of it so we do get noticed in hopes that if majority rules, the more there are of us the more it forces the government to lighten up the restrictions on us in hopes the we don't have to live in fear of prosecution or knowing that we can get decent jobs and be allowed to smoke pot once or twice a week and not worry about being fired for something we did in our free time.
We make a big statement and want to be noticed in hopes that we can get treated as equals some day too.
I have seen Alchol damage my family first hand and I know that a lot of drugs are far worse than pot but those drugs are fine if you work a good job because they can be pissed out of your system in a matter of days and those drugs also have conciquinces if you try to do with out them unlike pot.

This is one of my favorite amps. I went from the 125.2 on a set of components to the 100.4 so I could run active and I haven't looked back
I think this amp does something like 125x4 and is plenty loud enough.
Good amp I have enjoyed every class A/B amp I have gotten from Sundown.

whether he bridge the amp and run the coils in series, or run 1 channel to each coil, he'll have the same power anyway.
True but doing it like that makes me uncomfortable just for the reason that some music may not have bass on one channel or the other.
Unless he has a mono signal running through his RCA's.
Minor detail but enough to bug me.
Kind of like listening to the Greatful Dead this morning. There is alot of stuff on one channel and not the other.
I'm a music lover and not just solely a bass head though.

Because I have a dual coiled subwoofer that uses 2 channels
Because of you saying this, I would not recommend that you should attempt running 2 amps to one sub.
You need to identical amps and you have to gain match the amps so they put out equal power.
You bridge the 2 channel amp

You have to have 2 identical amps.
Not recommended for daily drivers unless you have experience.

I hope he means LPF at 8 0 and HPF at 25.
You shouldn't need to worry about higher frequencies causing damage of any kind.
I don't know if you can be helped over the internet, almost need to hear it in person.

A 4 inch diameter port should be fine with a 12 inch sub.

Ya I should be fine and this conforms what I was thinking.
If I have a fixed subsonic filter at 25 hertz and tuning at 40 there is just a big gap there where the woofer can unload. On larger subs I like to be tuned at 35 hertz for the sound and an unloading gap of 25 to 35 I like better.
10s sound pretty good at 40 and I understand why I would do that but I just have the feeling that I will enjoy my 10 at 35 hertz better.
If my port wasn't L shaped or a fixed port I would make it changeable. Ah maybe I might still make a changeable port if the box is large enough.
LOL back to the drawing board.
