x2. I have 2 powerbass 15's right now.. one i got blown, and the other hits really good. I love powerbass.. for the money they hit great. I am redoing my box. I talked to a friend and he has 2 powerbass subs like i do and runs them in a 4 cu ft encloser PER sub. so.. he is helping me build a 8 cu ft box to house 2 15's. both will be running 1000 watts @ 1 ohm. so.. i cant wait to the numbers myself.. the guy i bought these from has another set. he runs in his blazer and he hits 146.7 db... so... i am really excited.. will have pics a.s.a.p

well.. when running 300 watts per speaker... 150 watts per voice coil at 4ohm.. i dont see why they blew out... well.. i didn't think i would have to do research when i had a re dealer and a guy that works for re at the competition that helped me wire everything up. ohh well it is done with... i bough some re's they blew... ohhh well..

that is a great sub.. i believe those go for like 400.00 ea. through a dealer.. I am a poor ass white guy. i would love to have those.. but i have to get what i can afford.. i hate having a blown sub.. and atleast, if i know i have 2 subs that are at 100% i might be better in comps than just the feeling of throwing my money away... anyway guys... you are more than welcome to throw your 2 cents in where needed... but at the end of the day, it is me that spent the money.. it wasnt your money, it didn't effect you guys any... if i think it is a great buy, and a awesome deal.. tahts all that matters... so, with that being said... thank you for your input...

i have a focus too.. mine is a zx3.. i dont want to take out my back seats to do a install.. i want it to appear stock.. until you hear me thumpin down the block.. and getting on the spl meter

they are brand new in box.. it doesn't matter what you pay for them.. you still get the 1 yr warrenty with POWERBASS. I already called powerbass.. it doesn't matter what you pay for them... warrenty is warrenty. that are brand new in box.. Have you ever ran powerbass?? I bought 2 kicker comps and got a box with them and ran 137.7 with them.. and they blew out on me right before west coast finale 06.. I dont think you get what you pay for goes toward speaker equipment.. a sub being 300.00 ea vs 500.00 ea. It just matters who is going to pay that amount for them. anyone can take a speaker and if the box is setup right, hit as loud, or close to anyone with a high dollar system... I have seen audiobahns kill other subs.. just how they are setup and installed in my eyes. james- yeah.. they were the entree level subs.. but the guy that sold them to me was a re dealer and swore up and down, for me wanting to do bass race and db drag they would be an EXCELLENT buy. and then the re guy was there to be in the competition and i wa sthere talkin to him and he looked at my setup and saw how i was gonna run them, and he said they would be excellent.. but.. i had smoke pouring out of them by the 2nd day.. LOTS and LOTS of smoke..

i agree.. i loves bills setup... but you know.. i had 2 re's 12's that i bought, and i blew them at west coast finale 06. I paid a nice peice of change for them, and the guy told me, ohh yeah you can run that no problem... didn't even last the 2 day event... i had these powerbass subs.. and hit hard... and they rock my hatch..

the numbers will be posted at the next event i go to.. which is SPLMAX. i am going to try to go talk to rusty and get on the meter... i should have no problems doing 130-139.9 bass race.. maybe event 140-149.9.. dont know yet.. i am running 1000 watts to each sub.. i should be able to do a high street c burp too

personally i like powerbass.. Kingsuv runs 16 12" powerbass subs.. so.. they are BRAND NEW IN BOX... tell me what is wrong with that??? I think they are a good buy and that all that matters. I have a 1 yr warrenty with them.. if i get them and i blow them, i send them to powerbass and get different ones.. Tell me where you are going to get 2 brand new powerbass 15" DUAL voice coil subs for 100.00 for both???

I have 1 es15ds. and i bought 2 from his guy.. he has 1 more sub that he was gonna add to the action at the check out. so i was gonna get 3 subs from him for 150.00 and then 50 shipping.. but, i got kinda tight on funds, so i just got the 2 subs that was the origonal action. for 144.00 w/ shipping. it is ok.. i might eventully do this.. but right now i am good i think.. my subs should be here on monday

yeah.. well.. thats a damn good deal.. the guy has anyone too.. i might pick it up later to have as a spare... DAMN GREAT DEAL

well.. i was looking around ebay for this and that. i came across 2 BRAND NEW IN BOX PowerBASS ES15DS dv2 ohm woofers. The action was for a pair of them. so i entered in the bid with 99.00 bid. and no one else bidded on them so i got 2 new subs for less than 100.00 and they should be here in 3 -5 days they just shipped out today from chicago, il area. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...p;rd=1&rd=1 So i can run 2 - 3 woofers.. if i decide to run just 2 i have one spare... anyways... place comments below..

maybe i will just do 2 or 3 15's.. and have a BACKUP...

i own XtremeSPL.org !! just 2 15's doesn't shoot out at me as Xtreme... 4 15's or 6 12's or something REDICIOUS... and be crazy loud, thats xtreme... but you know.. if i can have a nice box, and pump 1000 watts to each sub and hit around.... 30- 35 hz.. it is rock the fuck out of that hatch.. IMO

i can do installs and setups.. i am just new at building boxes.. i usually buy prefab boxes... but now i want to get into building my own shit... save money

well.. he wants me to come by the shop on sunday, to sit down and design something.. by that time i SHOULD have my package with my 3 15's in it..

i just dont want to be running 2 15's... i want either 3 or 4... i have the watts from my new amp... thats just what i want.. and it seems like everyone is trying to pull me away from it..

well.. his partner doesn't like the fact of him building me a box for free.. his partner told me it would be 400.00 for a box to made.. my friend said he will design me a box for 2 15's. he feels 4 15's is over kill for my hatch, and that i would have better control and sound as well as SPL with 2 powerbass 15's at 1000 watts each, in a 4 cubic ft box ported. but he doesn't want to build it.. he will give me the dimentions and tell me how to make but i will be the one putting it together, because of the of his partner.. it is a bunch of drama.. i dont need it

i dont want a wall.... i want my box to be lower than my window line.. I have no problems laying down my back seats.. they are already down. I have a box design already in my head, and but i want to make sure i am correct.. i will be back guys... i am going up town to a friends stero shop...
