LZTYBRN Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 So, if I understand correctly, the idea behind port tuning is that at the frequency you tune it to, the output is highest. Is that correct? So my main question is, other than SPL, is there any reason you would want to have higher output at certain frequencies? And if, in a SQ system, you want to have a steady output, how do you know what to tune the box to? Would you use the Fs value of the subs, or is it something like a matter of preference?
