Ricky A.
It's fully enclosed with 2.25 or 2.5 cubic feet. I forget the exact number. What would be ideal? audioque subwoofers are not meant to be put in a sealed box. do not skimp out on a box because it will determine how loud and how the sub will play and sound. this. the box is probly the most cruscial part of your system. and i assure you the design i sent you was designed correctly! Alright. Thanks Rick, that box designs looks managable. It'll be my first box though, so we'll see. I'm pumped though. =P
Guest
this. the box is probly the most cruscial part of your system. and i assure you the design i sent you was designed correctly! not bashing you at all but the box design you have has only 12.5sqin of port per cubic foot. you need upwards of 16 per cubic foot, at least thats what many people with AQ woofers recommend. Ricky A.
16 sq inches of port would have made the port about 7 inches deeper and I couldn't have that but also didn't want a like 40hz tune Quote BUILD LINK: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/112034-2-sundown-18s-98-f-150/page__p__1565972__fromsearch__1#entry156597298 Ford F-150Truck:37" superswamper tsl radials16" ion alloy wheels3" body lift2" suspension liftOffbrand brushguardPIAA driving lights6000K HID'sSystem:2 18" Sundown NightshaedAq3500Custom Fiberglass boxfosgate T1 6x8 Coxialsbass inferno 2000 watt 4 channel2 XS power d3100's0 Gauge
Ricky A.
But yes I was aware of that and with my experience with aq subs I didn't hear much difference between 12.5 and 16 Quote BUILD LINK: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/112034-2-sundown-18s-98-f-150/page__p__1565972__fromsearch__1#entry156597298 Ford F-150Truck:37" superswamper tsl radials16" ion alloy wheels3" body lift2" suspension liftOffbrand brushguardPIAA driving lights6000K HID'sSystem:2 18" Sundown NightshaedAq3500Custom Fiberglass boxfosgate T1 6x8 Coxialsbass inferno 2000 watt 4 channel2 XS power d3100's0 Gauge
