iChristian03
I just joined this forum today and I was hoping somebody could help me out. I'm planning on starting my first real system build soon and I am completely lost when it comes to the charging part of it. I'm going to have a Fi BTL 18 on an AudioQue AQ2200D. I know I probably don't NEED to upgrade my electrical for that but I rather be safe than sorry. I was planning on adding a DC Power 180 amp alternator and a D3100 as an extra battery (I have a year old Duralast up front) just in case I decide to add more. I want a stable idle voltage and I don't want to worry about voltage drop. Do you think this setup will get the job done or is it overkill? Guest DC Power Kyle
You'll be fine with a 180 and a d3100. Just make sure to have good runs of wire.
