where it says physical port length on the right towards the bottom is how much the length of the wood needs to be

i know that but i dont get it do you divide it by 2 when make a 2 common wall or wtf?

its chicken scratch but i dont know how to use sketch up so this is what i got :/

yes with one sub on each side the port needs to be cut in half because each sub is sharing the 4.5 inches in the center. so if 1 volume of air with 4.5 inches on the left meets another volume of air 4.5 inches on the right thats now 2 volumes of air in the same 4.5 inches in the center which compresses things differently

EDIT: again this is just what i gathered from reading the site if anybody else can help please chime in.

19.25 back im pretty sure. then yeah 5.75 to both the right and left. then when you take a string and put it from the front of the port to the back and around the corner, touching the port at all times, that string will measure 25.75 inches
