I always enjoy seeing these older car restorations. I'm not a big fan of the car itself, but thats just personal taste. I do like what you're doing with the motor though, and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it once its done. Keep up the good work bro! And dont forget to take lots of pics so we can check out the progress.

Thanks everyone. I am kinda going for the lowrodder look. I like my cars like I like my woman, clean shaven. The door handles are gettng shaved. And all the chrome trim and decals are gone. I don't know if I want to shave the opera lights off are not.

So last week a buddy of mine dropped off a flowmaster muffler that goes out to dual pipes. I'm pretty excited about it. Hopefully in a week or so I can get it on the car and see how she sounds.

I recently got a welder, and I practiced a little and tried welding over the door handles for the shaved door kit. It isnt a pro job, it may be ugly, but it should work.
