He's a gun nut. my dad collects too. between me and him, we have enough guns and ammo to outgun half of the law enforcement of georgia. Hugh G. Rection
Can you explain the safety involved with the 2lb trigger job and the ground trigger bow? if you reduce the physical weight of the trigger itself, then you can get the pull weight even lower without worrying about the trigger slapping back from the kinetic energy of the gun cycling, which causes the hammer to fall and makes the gun unsafe. 3Ltriste13
so i got me a new toy a few days ago. ive been doing some work to it and i finally got it finished for now, so here are some pics. list of mods i did: 1- 2lb trigger job (and yes, its done safely) 2- calibrated all the springs 3- ground trigger bow to reduce the triggers physical weight so i could safely lower the pull weight 4- ground and reshaped the frame tangs to accept a beavertail grip safety (for me, its just gotta have a beavertail) 5- hi-gripped the gun 6- removed the swartz firing pin block system 7- tightened the slide to frame fit 8- removed the stock GI guide rod and replaced it with a EGW one piece guide rod 9- made these awesome grips for it 10- added an extended thumb safety this thing is a beast now (not that it wasnt a beast before i started) and now, on to the pics Thats a bad ass 1911 bro. But wat do you think of the nwe remington 1911? Quote YEEEEEEEEEEEEE
